Please see attached, NW 6/7, initially diagnosed based on pictures as having retrograde alopecia with average to poor density in donor region, albeit early days and I still have many months to go for growth to materialize almost 3600 grafts were safely harvested from my donor site, for the rest mix of beard and scalp hair were used. I do have pretty straight beard hairs and for frontal 1/3 rd pure scalp hairs were used. Now praying for my results to turn out to be good.

I am very happy with my procedure, and by my HT doctor so far. Rest is left to nature as to how the results turns out to be, guess we will know in another 6-12 months time.

Have had some scab fall off and you can seea bald patch at the back which will be done soon. I am very happy with the experience so far. They use state of the art equipment and very friendly people, also results with NW 6/7 patients are excellent. i can tell you more once my result shows up. Though I feel quite confident of good outcomes from my procedure based on initial few days of healing!. Keeping my fingers crossed, and my prayers for your continued great growth. I evaluated Dr.Umar myself, however was not veay happy for multitude of reasons including the response I got for my queries. However my opinion of him might be biased since I never met him personally. Wait 4 my thread in 2 weeks time, once my crown work is (about 10% area left) completed I shall post all the pictures. The below is not entirely correct, Dr. Kapil Dua is recommended on this forum he is from Delhi. However Dr. Bhatti is a very good surgeon with some excellent cases posted on this forum.

It is important to pay attention to cosmetic results of your surgery given that ur getting ur frontal hairline restored. So even though NOT recommended on this forum I would suggest you check out Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal and their results on their websites at eugenix. I think given the type of results they are producing they would soon be recommended on this website if they so desire. Their results look very natural so does Dr. Bhatti's as well.

I don't think there are any surgeons from Delhi yet recommended on this forum.

 

I can only speak greatly about Dr. Bhatti as he was my HT surgeon. Members on this forum can only speak about their experience good or bad with their own surgeon.

 

Finally I will add, you only need 2 days which you would need in Delhi too for your procedure and Chandigarh is only 45 min away by plane.

@ HTSoon, I agree wholeheartedly with your opinions on NW 6/7, I myself being NW6 with depleted donor area. I recently had combo scalp and BHT done in India and will post a separate thread and pictures soon, the experience was great and the cost was 1/10 th of the money spent in USA even after adding airticket costs.

Check out results by Dr. Arika Bansal of Eugenix in the results posted by SHASLEc0. Looks natural and seems like there are advantages for DHT technique. (not recommended by HTN yet!)

There are other doctors like Dr. Dua, Dr. p o s w a l, Dr. Tejinde Bhatti, Dr. Madhu (Hyderabad), Dr. Radha (Hyderabad) many of whom are recommended on this forum. Only Dr. Bansal, Dua and Dr. Bhatti do BHT as far as my knowledge pf these docs go.

Heard multiple opinions about this.

when is it safe to oil the scalp or the grafted area after transplant?. just for the sake of messaging the reciepient area or the donor area.

Quick question for the modertors and the site owner though?.

Does this website charge any fee from the physicians for its recommendations?, nothing wrong in it since it takes revenue to run a support forum like this, but just wondering about if the physicians are charged for being on the forum? -besides I also understand that the vetting process for the physicians or surgeons is pretty heavy and strict and only quality docs are recommended as we already know.

From front looks nicejob on hairline, but could have used more grafts for mid scalp given donor area looks to have plenty to offer rather than a combover?.

Congratulations on such fabulous results, I was looking atsome other threads and looks like DHT has resulted in near 100% growth rate for you as claimed on their website. No wonder they are able to confidently take up NW6/7. Great job by a talented HT specialist.

Patience is a virtue to have. Wait at least 1 year, no instant results here. What ur describing appears to me as a natural healing process.

I was reviewing information on Dr.Pradeep Sethi, seems like Dr. Bansal and Sethi work on similar techniques and their work is closely related?, he also does DHT and BHT and seems to take on Norwood 6 and 7 with some excellent results!!!, Any idea?.

Please do share an update hopefully by the middle of this month?, I am planning on a HT assessment soon and hopefully by the end of the year jump towards getting it done!. Hopefully your update will help the decision making.

@SHASLEc0 what a transformation even with in first 3.5 months. Even as David and other people have said you are still in your initial stages of growth, this will no doubt be a great result to say the least my friend.

I was little worried for you initially at 2.5 months because I saw some pitting scars at the implant sites, but they are all gone now!!!, no scars left!, as you said probably the fact that hairs fell out and then regrew helped bring more naturalness to your growth,.

I am so happy for you my friend. You know i eagerly wait for your updates every month!!. I think I now know with whom I will go for HT when I make my decision to go for it!.

Question:

1. Did the grafts fall off before they re-grew?, I know everyone is different but just was curious.

2. How did u sleep for first few days?, must have been difficult to make sure that you accidentally do not touch those transplanted grafts.

Do you suggest any good hotels nearby for the patients going for transplant?

WOW, for 2.5months great growth,you are probably only 30% by now. 70% still to come!!!, it will look great once it is about 10 months, I think she did a great job!.

crown looks okay in my opinion. He will need another session to fill in his left frontal area so that it doesn't look all combed over. But great results, excellent work doc.
