  1. Also perhaps everyonehas noticed this difference.:

In all four patients the lower half of the FUE grafts were mostly stripped of fatty tissue and the bulbs were mostly “naked” without protective tissue.

Many physicians as Dr. Bernstein indicated have started gotten away with stripping the fatty tissue, I think in hands good at performing FUE the results will likely be different.

  2. All the best. Work looks good. If it were me I would have asked for Dr. Bhatti's presence at the earliest feasible time once the minor issue was noted. Overall I think you had positive experience. I have percieved Dr. Bhatti as a very ethical doctor and he would have notified you if he felt there was anything odd. Prayers for your great results.

I agree it was likely Dr Bhatti was mid procedure. I'm sure if the staff had been very concerned they would have called him. But nonetheless, it was an anxious few hours while you're bleeding from your recipient area post procedure and no one is telling you wants going on.

As for the hairline, we'll have to wait and see I guess. I know a few friends of mine with similar narrow faces and straight hairlines who look great - I think the hairstyle itself plays a large role. And even if it isn't perfect, it has to be better than what I had before haha.

Anyway if it grows dense and blends well, I'll be a happy chappy. I also think if you look closely theres nice randomness to the edge, so I think providing I get good growth it'll look nice and natural.

  3. That is nice of you Dr. Bhatti. Wish every physician was as ethical. Raj_Jayukdht all the best.Your results do look good. Hope the second HT would fill your temples well. All the best to both of you.

Thank you for everyone's input and thank you to Raj_Jayukdht for updating us all on his progress. By sharing, we are educating.

We have two obvious issues in front of us with regards to the case of Raj_Jayukdht.

    1. There is an obvious and significant cosmetic improvement that drastically improves the overall aesthetic. For this I am very happy and am glad that Raj_Jayukdht see this as a benefit as well.

    2. The two areas of poor growth in the bilateral temporal regions is unusual. Both areas are fairly devoid of any hair at all and in very isolated but well defined outlines. To have such a clear delineation between growth and no growth indicates an unknown trauma, either external or internal.

Raj_Jayukdht, I would like to speak with you regarding your case as soon as possible so please contact me at your earliest convenience so we can arrange a meeting. I intend to do two things; the first is to investigate as much as possible what the cause is for this issue and the second is to do whatever I can within my power to correct it. This I promise.

  4. The best thing I have done is to apply ''Mahabhringraj'' oil (available on amazon, but avoid the one made by Dabur company since the base is mineral oil therein) to help reduce scalp dryness and also to increase the hair growth. Even though the frontal completely bald area had minor positive changes, better nutrition of the donor area by massaging the above oil helped to increase the donor density. Once I reach 2-3 months mark I plan to use the oil again to help nourish my transplanted hairs too!.

  5. Quite a large numbers (50%) of beard hairs were used to blend in aesthetically with head hair in my case. Got it done by Dr.Arika Bansal and Dr. Pradeep Sethi at their Gargaon clinic, New Delhi.

Look through their eugenix india website and you will see some excellent NW 6/7 results. They do BHT (beard, chest, armpit).

My growth so far has been very good. I shall post my update every 2 months or so.

    Hope this helps.

  6. Found these instructions on a famous HT surgeon's website, highlighted the ones which I have never heard of before, experts please weigh in, I have never heard of something like ''donot wear hat for 4weeks!!!'

Patient who are travelling by air with a flight time greater than 5 hours must stay in the location of their procedure for 7 days. The cabin air may dry out and potentially kill the grafts and thus affecting their growth.

Hats are not to be worn over the grafted areas for 4 weeks.

Exercise involving aerobics, lifting weights is not allowed for 4 weeks.

Sun exposure of grafted areas is to be avoided for 3-6 months.

Swimming with the head under water is not allowed for 1 year.

  7. congrats harin....looks perfect

keep posting your pics....it will benifit us all

Thanks SHASLEc0. In fact your case helped me decide on the HT specialist and I went with Dr. Arika and Dr. Pradeep. Thank you.

It has been 4weeks and now since the first stage of transplant the hairs implanted a month ago have started shedding while the crown hairs are still rooted strongly.

I will update this forum every 2-3 months since it might be difficult to update every month given my schedule.

I appreciate everyones' prayers. Thanks a ton.

  8. Konior, and go to bed and sleep well.

Ha, ha. Good one. I actually exchanged few mails with Dr. Konair s clinic and was very pleased with methodical assessment and approach. He even offered free initial consultation with no obligation given my advanced hair loss. Due to multiple other factors I went ahead and had my procedure in India. Under Dr. Arika Bansal at her Eugenix clinic at Guargaon, otherwise my next choice would have been Dr. Konair. (Who is surprisingly not recommended here).

I think u have made a great choice. All the best.
