NotJustYet, While I understand your concern about pricing, it seems pretty obvious to me that you are doing nothing but trolling Dr. Feller, his consultant Spex, and his patients. I've seen examples of this on several threads now. Trolling and harrassing any member of our community is in violation of our terms of service. I'm going to ask you one time to stop this behavior. My second warning will be the suspension of your posting privileges. Your anticipated cooperation is expected, Bill Managing Publisher of this Community MY OPINION HAS BEEN SILENCED! Since this will most likely be my last post on the matter, here it is. BTW its really only been a handful of posts.. so i dont get the trolling part. Ive been on this site for a bit... I noticed with just Feller, thered be a post of a result and then it was quickly followed by the same group cheering ANY AND ALL results regardless of crappy photos or so-so results... yes at very often $12500- $20,000 for a Feller FUE I felt a need to be the lone voice to challenge this blatant marketing on this forum. But I guess expressing a reserved concern or defending myself against the feller hit squad will end up with me being "banned". You guys are marketing bullies and Bill you know with only 66 posts this idea of me being a troll and hounding feller is a bit premature or unfounded! Obviously the Feller and his hit squad dont want ANY questions about their price..or results. Ive seen other forums die out when they allowed other docs to do the same thing. ARMANI ring a bell... Spex, I read a post where you offered to meet someone and talk to them about other docs in Europe..maybe I misread this. BUT YOU ARE A PAID REP FOR FELLER!! Your opinions are biased and in a sense paid for! Your the same type of guy someone would talk to if they went in to a bosley center.. the sales rep.... nice folks many times but still just reps. Thanopsis. I grew tired of your personal attacks and didnt want to interact with you becuase of it, constantly putting me down and not just my concern over costs and what it got someone. Even your last post talking about having to be "simple" with me.. what a jerk thing to write. Bill... Amrani, Armani, Armani.... he had paid reps and a whole group of attack dogs, i remember reading all the posts on another (now dead) website. Ive postsed on other docs... almost all my 66... yes 66...again 66 posts have been defending my right to voice concern about what I was seeing on this website. if that entitles me to being banned then ban away. i wont be the last i assure you but keep in mind many others just catch on to whats happening and decide to move on. Feller, you can dish it out cant you.. but very often those who dish it out hard arent able to take much themselves. I admire when you dish it out, but your very high costs really turn me off. Its all about the money boys isnt it.. now will this post get deleted??

Dont play the fool.. I am such a threat I get my posts removed...me with my 63 posts? Most of them with protecting myself by attacks from the cheer squad. Thanatopis_awry posts 2618 times Dr Feller posts 1338 times (he has a practice to run!) Spex posted 2574 times ( I know he reps more than one doc) wow...its amazing how thin skinned you folks are to a little questioning about $10 bucks a pop being fair. These $10,000 or $12,000 HT jobs that barely fill in the widows peaks are ridicules! The doc said it right and accurately.. when the demand (through advertising/forums) increases then the FUE docs raise their price, just as with strip! Difference is with strip most people didnt buy into the higher prices like they do with FUE. I have seen good FUE results for $6... period. You dont need to pay $10 and if you! or anyone wants to beat the drum and try to explain why it should cost $10 I dont buy into it. Mark my words...FUE will drop in the next five years. To others out there who dont get it... keep reading the forums until you do.

Exactly. Say whatever but this is the ONLY reason FUE is in this price range. Let me and a handful of others stand among the cheering throngs and be the only ones who quietly (and only occasionally) post "The Emperor has no clothes on"..

having been on this and other sites I can tell you that cost is NOT always a good indicator of how a transplant will look. Dont be fooled thinking if you pay "top dollar" you get any better result than an average priced surgeon. Id find someone in the average price range and look at their results and make a decision based on that. Theres really good docs all over the world but most are US based. (at least those that post results)

The techs are just as important as most docs with the way HT are done. Also the Doctor had you by the legal balls.. it would have been easy to get a judgment. congrats, 23 free hairs. Looking forward to seeing your pics.

interesting... where are all the "GREAT JOB", "LOOKS NATURAL" comments from the cheerleader squad? Not one positive comment from the squad... wrong doc?. Id say from these pics thats a great job with what was done. Id be thrilled to get this result with so few hairs and i am sure at a good price!

I would assume Dr Feller has not knowingly chosen a place of business that would incur FOUR TIMES the costs of doing business elsewhere..thats my first assumption. And BTW, he says he is inline with costs of doing business as those in the midwest..well, actually that THEIR costs would be similar to his.. its simple guys..I see pics of results from other docs who do fue..they look good and they charge less. Honestly you all act as if the doc does eveything from start to finish..I think the tech team is just as important as the doc..they do alot of the work..get a bad tech and your results are bad...period. I dont think DR.Feller incurs any substantial costs that would require him to charge up to 60% more for FUE than other competent docs. Maybe he keeps his office really cool so he has higher A/C bills? read the posts from his patients..seems like a simple business operation he is running..no different than that of other docs....I dont read anything about massages or free dinners and hotel stays.. BTW I am not a victim....I just call price gouging when I see it...and I call out rude people too.. i dont think any of you who hold opposing views are trying to KING KONG your views or are passive-aggressive..or are liberal..or conservative. its amazing how consumers of HT can be SSSSOOOOOOOOOOO aggressive about supporting higher prices for FUE... its weird.. youd think actual consumers would be advocating for lower prices or at least prices that are reflective towards the norm..

wow.. this one statement shows where we differ.. I think he CAN charge what he wants but hes NOT a SAINT for not abusing it further? And why do you INSIST on labeling me? Is that the "worldview" that you have...EVERYTHING must be painted in politics? BTW you couldnt have guessed futher from the truth..I do however have a major issue with price gouging...its exactly that type of behavior why capitalism DOES have its detractors throughout the world.. Unchecked it is ripe for abuse from amoral characters.

When the first hurricane hit South Florida back in 05 many people were concerned and found they needed to board uup their windows and buy a generator ect. Some free market entrepreneurs came up with the idea of rushing to all the home depots and buying all the generators they could get their oohh so smart and entrepreneur hands on. They then sat out in front of said stores and sold the generators for three times the price they just bought them for. Supply and demand right!? Based on a free market and taking all emotions or morals out of the equation they SHOULD be able to do this. After all they are merely providing a product that was in high demand. All of you completely free market thinks SHOULD NOT in this situation determine any moral highground or condemnation..if you do then you are justifying my opinion IN SOME WAY with FUE costs.. Not a perfect example of how you can abuse anything (i.e. few good fue docs so charge what you want). But it makes my point...just because you CAN do something in our free market doesnt mean we dont recognize price gouging and call it what it is. I believe a good doc can charge more than an average one..but TWICE as much? Thats gouging in my opinion..both docs have fixed costs.

haha...if that aint the kettle callin the pot black... There arent enough FUE docs to bring prices down to a more reasonable level. The last thing we need is the demand side cheerleading some of the highest prices on the supply side. having had a number of elective surgeries I can tell you I have negotiated them ALL down to reasonable amounts....often reductions of 25%...I got the docs I wanted at the price I thought was fair based on comparable market pricing/locations ect. With FUE its a supply side issue...plain and simple..I refuse to cheerlead a docs prices when I know if there was more competition amazingly his price would go down. Does that mean one less country club membership? Maybe a few more patients than desired? Strip prices keep getting lower and lower..but how? Doesnt take teh same amount of techs ect? Competition..plain and simple..

Feller would still be able to afford his nice home and cars at $8 as he does at $10, I assure you he isnt hurting. He has a line at $10 so this is what he charges. Fine, I just dont like the line of guys on THIS website who cant seem to remove their heads from his teet long enough to realize maybe $10,000...let me repeat $10,000 only gets your temples filled in. I wont say you make me sick or try to figure out your political persuasion. But I will say some of you guys are really vicious the way you come across the internet. Spex...I notice you "politely" attack anyone on this board who challenges a doc your affiliated with. You probably have 1,000's of post praising feller so dont jump on me for my one post that only challenged his fees. Your statements of me having a a "beef" with him is an attempt to discredit my concern for his high fees...your statement of me needing to "stay on topic" is another attempt to shut me up. How about not making accusations next time.. fact is I like feller in some ways, hes the only one I know who blasts the snake oil that the laser comb is.. he has helped to pioneer fue...ect. But I stand by my statement that $10,000 is ALOT of money to most of us and I just cant see what he got as worth $10,000. But its a free market and feller can charge as much as he wants as numerous people on here would pay him twice as much...

and this is why some docs can and will charge $10...just for hoots he should charge $15 per graft and see if he makes MORE money and works even less.. I am sure there would be a line of guys who dont understand dollar/value..

Will Dr Feller ever lower his prices? $10,000 for such a small area to be filled in seems so outa line with comparable results I have seen on this and other sites. I have seen other FUE results that cost $6-8 that are just as or more natural looking and effective. I guess if there are people willing to pay...why not..free market. It just seems for such a small job there are a number of good FUE docs who wouldve charged thousands less.. i think its time to call docs on what they charge too...this wasnt some difficult HT..simply praising the work on a simple 1k job while not questioning the price ($10,000!!) continues to foster higher prices in the long run for the rest of us who want a good surgeon but at a more reasonable cost. I am not saying $4 for fue..but $10? And not even on a sliding scale it seems? I am ready to get beat up by some of the posters i see on here....but do any (non affiliated) posters feel me on this one? Its frustrating..thanks

I think the OPs post is legitamite and he makes good points. Its nice to read a post that isnt pushing a doctor or just high fiving a doctors results.. I am curious if everyone who is saying 20 year olds are mature for this reason or that reason are actually in their 20's?...I remmeber being told I was "just a kid" when I was about 24 and I was so pissed...now looking back I totally agree with tat statement...I think its in your 30's you mature..
