  1. Great write up Bowdie! You cant go wrong with Dr Feller! I've no doubt your result will be amazing! I'm from ireland myself, had 1012 Fue Jan 15th with Dr feller, hoping to see some growth soon! Heal well mate
  2. Im not sure if Farjo in the UK does FUE, Feriduni and Devroye in Belgium are very good! Feller and Shapairo in the US are excellent. These are all recommended coalition doctors. Stay away from DHI in my opinion, do plenty of research on this forum and you will eventually get a feel for a doctor who will do the best job for you. Research research
  3. Thanks uk syd. From my research I felt dr feller was the best for fue for me personally dr feller said I was ideal candidate for fue, nearly 100% extraction rate! Thegrafts were literally popping out! If you a do a search on thus site for feller fue it will give you plenty of examples. He has done 1200 and 1500 fue sessions as well I do believe. Dr feller will always do what is best for the patient and remove the appropiate number of grafts safely. My surgery taking under just over 4 hours from start to finish!I was an easy fue candidate though. If your physiology is not suited to fue then it may take a whole day just to remove 700 grafts. Do a search of dr feller on this site or get in touch with spex and he will put you in the picture
  4. I am now nearing 6 days post-op. Healing is going well. thanks to Spex for posting the pics and keeping in touch. Donor area is still slightly red. Recipient area is still red and slightly tender. All scabs are gone! If anyone has any special tricks in reducing post op redness besides witch hazel would be great to know!
  5. $10 a graft- $10,000 23 free ones when considering a hair transplant, I did not let money be a deciding factor in which doctor I would choose.
  6. Just returned home after receiving 1023 fue grafts with dr feller. My story so far- gradual mpb since 18, receding at top and temples. Started looking into ht about 2 years ago. Discovered this forum and excellent results from fue. I'm currently 28 and a norwood 3a. I taking a extremely conservative approach and my goal was to thicken the frontal forelock. I was initially scheduled for 1200 however on the morning of the ht doc said 1000 would be plenty. My payment for the procedure had still not went through on the morning of the op, my wire transfer had failed and I had to transfer the funds across to credit card and wait for them to clear. Dr feller could have easily sent me packing known that I could jump on a plane never to return. The willingness of dr feller to procede known this is further testament to the reason he does this in the first place- to change peoples lives for the better and to put a smile back on their faces. If anybody thinks money is his primary objective you are very much mistaking. We drew in the hairline and I recieved the first injections about 8.45am. Next dr feller and technicians removed the grafts. Then dr feller numbed recipient site and made incisions for grafts, the technicians then placed the grafts and I was finished at 1.30 pm after recieving 1023. Got 23 free ones by the way. The primary reason I chose dr feller and travelled from Europe is knowing that after I walked out the door having recieved a hair transplant and regardless if for whatever reason my result may not be satisfacory my conscience will be clear. I will know that I went to the best fue doctor in the world and I will not look back with regrets and say " I wish this" and " I would have done this ". I would rather sleep well at night knowing I made an excellent choice in choosing dr feller. As we have all seen from the forum the repair work that has been done due to the poor work of other doctors. Bottom line - research, research, research and more research. If you pay peanuts for a hairtransplant there's no doubt there is a monkey on the end of the scalpel! Hopefully the doc will post pics! We drew in the hairline and got going
  7. Great write up bally, the results look excellent. The fine art of fue at it's very best. I'm booked for 1200 fue myself in Jan with dr feller. I sent you a PM also
  8. Thanks for reply imissthebarber! Having difficulty getting pictures uploaded hopefully will get them up soon. If you seen the hairline I am proposing it is extremely conservative. At present when I grow my hair out and brush it forward half combover style and use a bit of toppick it looks like I have fair coverage. Ok it is still fairly well receded. I guess I want the option of thickening up what i have however when buzzed will still give the outline of the widows peak and that 5 o clock shadow look (think Jason Statham).I would never ever consider strip. Thats why I have chosen Dr Feller for FUE, best in the business for FUE. My dad id Norwood 5 hes 58, so hopefully I would maintain hair quite high on the sides. However I want the option to be able to buzz right down to a #1 and still look natural. If I get the pictures up it will be more clearer I hope
  9. Have been on the forums now a while and doing plenty of research. Got three online consults done, met few HT guys, spoke to a few HT people and I have been very impressed with results Started losing hair when I was 21, typical MPB receding at the front. Im now 28 and a Norwood 3A. Used minoxidil up to 21 thats when rapidly receded after i stopped using it. Was in denial about hairloss thats why I stopped. Im currently on proscar for past year, minimal side effects so far. Hairloss has bothered me from time to time, I would buzz my hair down let it grow back etc and continue this pattern over the years. To be honest I can pull off the buzz look #1 not to bad. I have a small round head which suits buzzed look. I have booked FUE with Dr Feller in Jan, he recommends 1500, can only afford 1200 at present. My goal is to basically fue into and around widows peak to give appearance of more density and to widen it out slightly. I have thought very long and hard about this. This is a one time procedure, Im not getting any temple work done.I want to be able to grow out the new grafts for a few years, and then buzz really short when existing native hair recedes beyond transplanted area. Has anyone had the same plan or goal in mind? How do yous think it will blend in to overall appearance when native hair recedes back? I havent discussed this with the doc yet as only consult with photos! I have posted two photos, I have marked out area with marker I want transplanted in. Any fue guys out there would greatly appreciate your views
  10. Excellent work Dr Feller, I am booked in forsomething similiar with yourself in January! Any picture updates on this patient?
