Hi all I am considering FUE this sommer. See pictures for donor area 1. picture) and hairloss grade (2. picture). My hairloss has settles. I am 35. My father had the same amount of hairloss as I do know. So, I got 2 FUT by Dr. Kolazinski in Poland. He sucks by the way. Hi did a OK job with the little that grew, but little did I know at that time (6-10 years ago), that 1000 grafts was a small amount for FUT. Anyway got 1000 grafts at the first procedure and at the next procedure he wanted to cut another strip but I said "hell no!" and made him use the old scar which he removed doing second procedure. I think second procedure was a waste of money. No real improvement and I think he only got around 500 grafts or so. In the mean time the market on FUE is looking very good, that is why I am considering this option. I have consulted a few surgeons from this board hereunder Dr. Konier (found me eligible for FUE), Dr. Hakan (ound me eligible for FUE), Dr. Batthier (found me eligible for FUE) and Dr. Erdogan, ASMED (did not want to do the procedure because scarring from previous procedures shots down blood supply which yields poor growth ratios in his opinion, which I find a bit strange considering the tiny and spred out not very dense procedures I got compared to others). So, more info coming. I have worn - still do - a hairpiece for several years. This has some benefits, but the front hairline can be a struggle to simulate - and I have had it with it. So, I want to get the hairline, templepoints and a bit in the crown and on my old FUT scar (but that is not sooo important. I have outlined the area for surgery on third picture. I and the Dr?s have assessed I?ll be looking at somewhat 1000-2500 grafts. By the way, how does my donor area look like regarding the FUE procedure? I have also attached a close up regarding the front which made ASMED decline (picture 4) Ah... Finally also attached a picture from 2-3 years ago when I used the transplanted hair as s compliment to the hairpiece (lpicture 5) 1 note on the hairline I am getting. I don?t need it to be soft. I am also going to comb my hair to one side (se last picture - picture 6). So I don?t need a super duper soft perfect hairline, I just need more hairs so that I can cover up the edge of the hairpiece (as I did on picture 6) Also, I love this site:)

"Please let me know if I can help you contact the clinic." Yes, please do. The initial contact was swift, and they told me to send pictures to another e-mail (starting with the word "english"). So I did - a week ago. When sending pictures containing highly sensitive information it would be nice to get some confirmation or timeline just as a friendly advice.

So, I consulted both. Hakan answered promptly, but Erdogan have not answered yet? I have read on this board that Erdogan ignores patients he does not find suited for operation. It is strange as Hakan accept and Erdogan has not responded yet (e-mailed him 5 days ago). I have consulted a lot of other surgeon and everyone answered promptly and none has yet found me unsuited for surgery. Just wondering if any fellows have had similar experiences or am I just being borderline inpatient here?

You just descrived to differently angled lightsources (I presume). The daylight is properbly hitting you from the side while the light bulbs is properbly coming from above right? Lightning from above tends to be more revealing to my experience.

1 more question: Ever rejected a patient due to loose skin in donor area? Is there a lower succesrate with loose skin and the FUE method? Thank you.

Hello Dr. Doganay What is the max number of hairs per square cm to the hairline you are able to/recommend performing on a patient. I?m considering a FUE to the hairline only approx 2000 grafts. Hope it is OK to ask in an open forum as I could not find information regarding dense-packing on your website.

Spanker: "about 1000 grafts per cm of restoration for at least the first 2 cm of the hairline" . Does not make sense. So if I got 18 cm from temple point to temple point that would be 18 cm x 1000 grafts.

It depends on the density. Low density = one way only.

Hi all, this is my first comment on this board. I know what I would like, but the question is, what doc would be a best fit for me needs. I have had a hairpiece for quite some time, but to get a good hairline is quite the pain from time to time and I want more consistency in my life. I want a permanent hairline going no more than 1 inch back from temple to temple, perhaps in the 800 grafts range. If my focus solely is on creating a dense/natural looking hairline, which really is all I want and need, which doc would you recommend? I have read about Dr Erdogan from Turkey and also looked at Konier from US. I?m from Europe, so someone close by would be great, but I?m willing to travel around the globe if that is what it takes. I?m looking for the greatest artist, and I want someone trustworthy and only a doc who carries out the operation him self, and takes pride herein. The list of doctors recommended by this site is quite overwhelming, and I know the pictures are handpicked by the doctors, so even though they resembles some degree of truth, I know that it all depends on the individual circumstances and reaction to the procedure. So, if you got any recommandations based on personal experience, I?m happy to hear from former HT clients, and perhaps others that have had procedure similiar to the 1 I?m contemplating getting (hairpiece behind transplanted hairline). Also if there are other topics on this subject that I have overlooked in my search on this forum, a link would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance... From Europe.
