  1. So, I went on a date a week ago. The girl I went out with, we had a discussion about many different subjects. One subject that got brought up (it was by her, not me) was balding men. She said "I don't see how guys can bald before the age of 25 it looks bad." After that I noticed her looking at the top of my hairline to see if I am losing hair or not. I had 2 previous transplants before; one with bosley two years ago then a repair with Dr. Alexander (almost 4 months from him starting to look good) but I was also wearing cabooki. So, she couldn't tell whether I have balding issues or not and I never told her my history with hair loss . I found myself to lose interest in her after that statement of hers despite my problem nearly being solved . Other nature intended me to be bald but I am not going to let that happen. Also, she wasn't the prettiest girl out there I am surprised her standards are so high for her wanting a man like Fabio. I don't know about you guys, but I couldn't ever be with a shallow woman who doesn't support me . I understand looks matter to them as well, but if they're bit a supermodel then their demands shouldn't be that high.
  2. Wow, great result! Dr. Umar is a great surgeon.
  3. I had a HT a little over two months ago and got back on rogaine. Whenever I play with my hair, I notice 10,20,30 hairs falling out. I know they say it's "normal" after a HT or getting back on rogaine from not using it in a month or two, But this is scary I feel like I'm balding even more with how easy my hair is coming out.
  4. Thinning hair I can agree. However, there are plenty of bald men that appear healthy if they workout and are all the way bald
  5. Looks like a comb over to me. He should go with the strip method and select a top notch surgeon.
  6. Is there any harm using caboki as a cover up until I start seeing some results? I didn't use caboki nearly 3 weeks after my surgery.
  7. Agreed, Rootz. You should bring it up only in a casual conversation. Coming off as obsessive about it really can be a turn off to women. It would be like them talking about how they're not happy without their make-up all the time. Whenever I tell a girl about my issue, I come off as confident knowing I have a lot to offer with or without hair and feeling that I'm still a good looking guy. But if you break the confidence level, then a woman may find you less attractive.
  8. Grinners, I can very much relate to your story being a 20 year old battling hair loss. I had a HT from a national chain nearly 2 years ago and it did not do much for me being uneducated on choosing an ethical surgeon. Then I met Dr. Alexander in Phoenix, he normally would not perform a HT on someone my age, my he wanted to correct the national chains sloppy work I had going for me. I'm at the 2 month stage with his procedure so I use caboki for now until I start seeing some nice results. Anyways, I can very much relate to you. Keep in mind that despite how pretty some girls are; they do many things to enhance their beauty. (Make-up, getting their eyebrows done, waxing, extensions, ect..) I am very upfront with girls I start to date. I'll tell them my hair loss story, what I do, my past surgeries, ect. I date attractive women so it is hard to bring up the topic and tell the truth at times but I just keep in mind of all the things they do to enhance their beauty, so what's the harm if I want to use a little bit of caboki, get HT's ect.. Bottom line is a real woman wouldn't stop liking you for something you can't control. If she does, there is someone much better out there for you. Maybe both of you should have a "bum day" where she doesn't wear make up or anything and you don't use hair concealer. Looks do matter to women, any woman that says they don't she's lying. But there has to be some understanding between the two, such as "hey you wear make-up" but hey "you have a little bit of hair loss." no one is perfect. Most women won't mind a little bit of hair loss anyway. Hope this helps
  9. In your case, I would go to Hasson and Wong. They are the some of the top docs available in the world. FUT isn't that bad unless you want to buzz your hair, but in that case what's the point of getting surgery if you want to keep it that short? You will get a lot more grafts in just one session.
  10. Dr. Scott Alexander here in Phoenix, AZ as Spex mentioned. He should be someone you should consider. He does great work. He also practiced FUE with Dr. Feller.
  11. I started using the safeway minoxidil again (not the foam). I wasn't on it for a couple months due to this same exact issue. Whenever I use it twice a day, I develop dandruff and have white flakes in my hair. It appears to be dried up skin. Is this normal? anyone else have this issue? I want to continue using it, I use it for the very center of my head because it is a little bit thin in that area. I want to keep using it because I heard it works well, but I feel that it's doing more damage than good if it just dries out my scalp...
  12. PP2, Thanks for sharing. I heard he's a great surgeon and delivers nice results. I can very much relate to your story on the college experience.
  13. Agreed. I always had girlfriends who told me "I don't care, it's just hair" after I told them I may be balding.but they're lying. Looks do matter to girls as well
  14. Gonna be buying this shampoo, any thoughts? No harmful chemicals? I've seen someone, a co-worker using it, and his hair is really think now. Once again, Paul Mitchell lemon sage thickening
  15. wow! thanks for the info! This strongly relates to me! I just got a HT 2 months ago. I tried out the shampoo just today and made my hair look great and a lot fuller. Should I get off it or just use it every 2 weeks as Spex stated??
