  1. I doubt they will, as this is specialized formula. Topical dutasteride may be a better value, as it will only be applied once per week. You can ask about that.
  2. I’m sorry to hear you’re not happy, but happy to see Dr. Wesley is doing a touch-up. I believe with your fine hair caliber a second procedure for density may have been inevitable. Please continue your journey on this thread. Look forward to your updates.
  3. Do you see how bald you were before. These results are incredible considering your fine blonde hair. To be honest, I would assume you needed 10K grafts to get these results with your hair caliber. As for the donor, I doubt anyone would ever notice anything strange. I believe the anxiety goes much deeper than hair. Speak to a therapist, it usually stems very deep. I hope you get the help you deserve. Mental health is a serious thing, that should be treated. Wish you well.
  4. Wow very impressive work. I haven't heard of this doctor, but you certainly got great work done. Who did the extractions and implantation?
  5. Hey guys, As some of you know, I had a great interview last year with Dr. Hasson. Co-creator of his new patented topical finasteride formula. The formula uses a mesh gel technology that traps the finasteride on the scalp, and keeps it from penetrating and going systemic. Based on their studies, the amount of systemic absorption for their 2.5% formula is the same as 0.001% formulas. Moreover, this formula has been given to hundreds of patients with excellent results. July 6th I’ll be joined by Dr. Hasson and Dr. Pimstone, who has a background in Pharmaceutical R&D. I know you all have had questions about the percentage of finasteride, the safety, and most importantly the STUDIES!! Well, this is a great chance to interact with them LIVE. Ask them anything you want. This will be their official launch. Join us at 4 PM pacific time! More details to come.
  6. He sued for basically talking about him getting a hair transplant. We should take this down LMFAO. He might sue us for using his “likeness” 🤦🏻‍♂️
  7. Even at his peak of “insanity” some of his points were valid. Personally, I think he was suffering from a manic episode. I watched some of his recent videos, and he seems to be doing much better. Mental health is something very near and dear to my heart. It’s a serious condition. I’m sure he didn’t want this condition, just like no one wants any other illness. I do believe in the power of meditation and the mind. There’s validity in eastern medicine. In fact, insurance companies now cover acupuncture, which was at one time considered a quackery. Just my thoughts.
  8. He went to the place in Chicago that used to be run by Dr. Katona. I’m fairly certain it’s similar to the hair mill model.
  9. There were a lot of technical issues the first time. I had to download it and re-upload. Unfortunately, the video quality took a hit. The content is still good though.
  10. The work looks great. I like this placement much better. He placed the grafts like this on my procedure. Overall, it looks like your first HT grew pretty good. Happy growing.
  11. To be fair, 2014 looks like harsh lighting with short hair. It's possible that he has a frontal hair piece. Not a full system but partial that he wears sometimes.
  12. I would suggest getting on the big 3, forget about RU58841, it's not proven like the big 3. What is the big 3? Finasteride, minoxidil, and Nizoral. I would suggest getting on topical finasteride and oral minoxidil.
  13. I look forward to seeing your progress, thank you for sharing with us.
  14. Brazil, much like the US is very diverse. There's a variety of races, from blonde haired blue-eyed patients, to afro patients, and even Asian. I would say this particular guy is probably more on the Iberian side. Sure, Portuguese and Spanish are known for having thicker hair, then say blonde Norwegians. But I don't believe you can pigeonhole any clinic in Brazil, because their patients are as diverse as the US.
  15. I had a podcast with him yesterday, I'll be uploading it here tonight. You should definitely check it out. I found him to be very ethical and his team perform surgery at a high level, on par with great surgeons in the US. That said, I have seen good stuff from the Cortez brothers. Shame they don't move out of TJ, that city is synonymous with botched cosmetic procedures. They should move to Ensenada or Rosarito.
  16. If you live in an underdeveloped country. You should start by exploring surgeons in underdeveloped countries as well. Dr. Turan, our newest member is very affordable. Again, affordability is a spectrum. So if you cannot afford him, best to save up. https://hairtransplantnetwork.com/dr-dogan-turan
  17. Dr. Mwamba is a great option, so is Dr. Bisanga. Eugenix is great for high norwoods. I suggest consulting with all of the above.
  18. ^This you need to have your hair at a certain length to have the illusion of density.
  19. Happy growing Vann, thank your for participating in our community. I look forward to following your progress 🙌🏼
  20. Dr. Camacho is a solid choice. His ethics and surgical protocol is top-notch.
  21. But you will also make more money. No one stays stagnant. I’ve advanced my career considerably since my first HT in 2014. Although the prices may have gone up slightly, so did my salary. Never let cost dictate your decision. As I said, if you’re not willing to save and invest in yourself. Do nothing. Shaving is free. It is much worse to get a botched hair transplant, than it is to be bald! You will end up spending a lot more money, just to look normal. Not a smart gamble.
