  1. Looks like someone already posted this thread on Reddit. Rather than start some sort of forum war, I don't understand why we can't share and work together. After all, our main goal is to share experiences and real information about hair transplants. While some might be misguided on there, many are searching for real information, which this forum has to offer.
  2. Looks like you’ve been a bit in denial. You’ve had significant hair loss since 2015. Are you on preventive medication? That’s the first step in restoring your hair.
  3. He’s already taking 0.5mg per day. In my opinion, he could try switching to a high-grade topical like XYONHealth and then incorporate dut 1x per week. That may actually be better.
  4. Good question, so you mean intentional over harvesting, to achieve a homogenous appearance throughout the entire scalp?
  5. We’ll be opening up a Q&A thread very soon, where Dr. Hasson and Dr. Pimstone will answer questions directly regarding XYONHealth topical finasteride. Stay tuned. In the meantime, let me find out.
  6. Mate, I remember when you were researching and had decided on a place until you came here. I'm glad that you made the right choice. You look amazing. As for the scar, yes it's not ideal. But some FUE into the scar would improve it alot.
  7. Doron got his repairs done at HDC, they are an excellent clinic. Dr. Maras and Dr. Christina. They both do excellent work. I would use our list as a starting point for research, make sure you research the doctors here before agreeing to surgery. https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/best-hair-transplant-surgeons
  8. You appear to have retrograde alopecia. It’s not a terrible thing, but does limit your lifetime grafts. You’re on fin, that’s good. I would consider some other form of growth stimulator. Minoxidil is the best, but you could try laser therapy. Are you a candidate depends on your expectations and how low you want to lower your hairline.
  9. I have seen some of the mods link threads to this forum. So they obviously visit. Just seems odd that they wouldn’t want to get their community access to the resources we provide oh well.
  10. Here’s a prime example: I literally posted this to get questions that they would want answered, or to see if anyone wanted a live consultation. High-grade educational content. They removed it. I know some of their mods visit this forum, so they enjoy our free content, but don’t allow it to be shared on there 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. It depends on how much hair you’ve lost. I got an HT at 28 without meds, I was basically bald. I did get on minoxidil after. I think context matters, if he’s a Norwood 6/7 by 28, it’s okay. But Norwood 3/4 diffuse, not a good idea.
  12. Dr. Turan is an excellent surgeon. My suggestion is to not focus on cost alone. Look at results. Use our list of forum-approved surgeons as a starting point for research. Dr. Turan is in that list. https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/best-hair-transplant-surgeons
  13. I don't believe 28 is too young, but it's hard to give you sound advice without pictures.
  14. You seem to be very critical on peoples threads. There's no such thing as "lacking density" when the result hasn't even finished growing yet. I don't know if English is your second language. But I suggest you try and be mindful of what you write.
  15. I see nothing wrong with charging consultation fees. Time is money, and time is non-refundable. Most surgeons add the consultation fee to the total cost of the procedure if you choose them, so it's really a moot point. I can definitely understand why surgeons charge money. I have spoken to some surgeons who don't charge consultation fees, and sometimes patients will try and take hours of their time, only to go to a cheap hair mill. If I were a surgeon I would charge a fee without a doubt. $250-300 is reasonable considering the total cost of a procedure is tens of thousands of dollars.
  16. @DrTBarghouthi is actually running a pilot program. He’s on my next podcast. Will definitely get more information. Good stuff guys, that’s why I do these podcasts. Cutting-edge stuff.
