  1. I have seen some of the mods link threads to this forum. So they obviously visit. Just seems odd that they wouldn’t want to get their community access to the resources we provide oh well.
  2. Here’s a prime example: I literally posted this to get questions that they would want answered, or to see if anyone wanted a live consultation. High-grade educational content. They removed it. I know some of their mods visit this forum, so they enjoy our free content, but don’t allow it to be shared on there 🤷🏻‍♂️
  3. It depends on how much hair you’ve lost. I got an HT at 28 without meds, I was basically bald. I did get on minoxidil after. I think context matters, if he’s a Norwood 6/7 by 28, it’s okay. But Norwood 3/4 diffuse, not a good idea.
  4. Dr. Turan is an excellent surgeon. My suggestion is to not focus on cost alone. Look at results. Use our list of forum-approved surgeons as a starting point for research. Dr. Turan is in that list. https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/best-hair-transplant-surgeons
  5. I don't believe 28 is too young, but it's hard to give you sound advice without pictures.
  6. You seem to be very critical on peoples threads. There's no such thing as "lacking density" when the result hasn't even finished growing yet. I don't know if English is your second language. But I suggest you try and be mindful of what you write.
  7. I see nothing wrong with charging consultation fees. Time is money, and time is non-refundable. Most surgeons add the consultation fee to the total cost of the procedure if you choose them, so it's really a moot point. I can definitely understand why surgeons charge money. I have spoken to some surgeons who don't charge consultation fees, and sometimes patients will try and take hours of their time, only to go to a cheap hair mill. If I were a surgeon I would charge a fee without a doubt. $250-300 is reasonable considering the total cost of a procedure is tens of thousands of dollars.
  8. @DrTBarghouthi is actually running a pilot program. He’s on my next podcast. Will definitely get more information. Good stuff guys, that’s why I do these podcasts. Cutting-edge stuff.
  9. Tagging @JoselitoElGallo what type of information do you want for chest hair? How about we break down a case using chest hair?
  10. Tomorrow we have an exciting episode featuring two of the best surgeons in the business. In my opinion, Dr. Bisanga is becoming one of the most prominent surgeons in the world, especially with fine blonde hair patients. There are so many cases here on the forum which have been excellent. I think it would be great to do a live consultation, or ask about some concerns regarding density, etc. If any of you want to be a part of the podcast. Feel free to sene me photos at my email service@hairtransplantnetwork.com. One topic I’m gonna bring up is recipient dominance. This topic came up recently, and who else better to ask than Dr. Bisanga BHT specialist. Also, let’s talk about chest hair, is it really viable? Ask as many questions as you’d like, and don’t forget to join! Tomorrow at 11 am pacific time, 2 pm eastern time, and 8pm Belgium time.
  11. This is a case of excellent donor healing. Honestly, with a razor shave fade, you can’t even see the scars. Absolutely incredible! Dr. Camacho has definitely earned my respect.
  12. Wow that’s incredible growth for what is it 4 months?
  13. Yes, in fact, my donor looked WAY worse. It did in fact take 6 months to fully recover. Even with notorious hair mills. I try to be fair and tell patients to give it time, because in many cases the donor does recover. You have to consider that you just had thousand hairs removed. The trauma can cause the existing native hairs to enter the dormant stage. Compound that with the fact that you already had around 10% in the dormant stage before surgery, that’s why it can take months to fully heal. To be honest, it’s a very small patch, overall doesn’t look too bad right now, but at 4 months, it’s gonna continue to heal and get better. See my full journey
  14. I’ve been very impressed with the gigasession FUE procedures, seems like only a handful of doctors can do them with consistency.
  15. That’s a steroid that helps with swelling. Yes it’s normal.
  16. Wow, I think warning number one was the warranty. Never trust any clinic or surgeon that gives you a warranty. Surgery is complex, and complications can arise even with the best surgeons. Surgery is not like buying a car, so there’s no warranties or guarantees.
  17. Let me tag @Bandit90 a fellow member from the UK. Perhaps, he can chime in and help.
  18. That will never happen as long as i'm around. I value honesty and transparency, but trolling behavior will never be tolerated. I do agree that the majority of Reddit users are in their early 20's. I don't think hair transplants are the answer. But we have plans to create HRN a one-stop-shop for everything hair restoration related. Including, pipeline drugs, treatments, etc.
  19. I'll reach out to Joseph from Folliclethought about this, he's usually tuned into the future hair loss treatments. I think Hair Loss Cure 2020 needs to change the domain name lol.
  20. There’s no need to take dutasteride daily, the long half life means you can take it 1-2x per week and it will be effective. The side effect you described could be due to blood pressure. Do you have a blood pressure cuff? You should invest in one if you’re gonna take oral minoxidil.
  21. Guys, Let’s take this conversation to pm, it’s completely unrelated to OP’s question.
