  1. If you soften the hairline with 500 grafts FUE, I think it would look awesome. The hairline is prob a bit harsh but not overly so, and as you only need a few hundred grafts, you'll still have lots of donor hair left over, especially as you only had 2400 first time round. I would say go for it. You're on meds and the rest of your hair looks stable with no hint of crown loss. The hairline is the most important part of a HT so if it is worrying you (and people are calling out HT) I would fix it. For me Dr Feriduni does amazing hairline repair work, but his waiting list is exceptionally long.

  2. Yeah FUE in the right hands looks scarless to the untrained eye when buzzed at a #1

There are no doubt cases where the "white dots" are visible to the untrained eye, but if you take 100 FUT and 100 FUE patients and buzz down to a #1 of #2, significantly more of Jo public will notice something untoward with the FUT patients than the FUE patients. As for buzzing, a lot of people don't realize how good a buzz cut can look until they try. With a fully restored hairline from FUE, a buzz cut can look awesome on some guys.

  3. It's a trick again. That's not really the back of the head, it's actually the patient's face just covered in newly transplanted hair brushed forward to hide the face after a FUT from Dr Feller. Don't let the ears fool you, that's just trickery from Dr Feller who is just trying to show off how brilliant he is at FUT. In fact, I think the procedure went so well, that the hair grew that long straight away, therefore my answer is b.

    That's why you're the Stig.

  4. Wow a 4 week waitlist and three procedures a day. Guess this thread never backfired on Dr Feller after all contrary to an earlier exchange between HTsoon and Mav. Sounds like Feller is doing just fine, although 3 procedures a day seems excessive. Don't the really good ones max out at 2 a day? Also, it's 3 procedures plus the time Feller is on this site posting - makes you wonder :)

Dr Feriduni's waiting list for a consultation is over a year, may not even get one now till 2017.

  5. you just proved my point more doctor trashing this seems deliberate and only focusing on one doctor by the way the only doctor who participated with true facts maybe you don't like his approach but now you are making your opinion seem like facts.

I think you need to put a big disclaimer on that bud. Dr Feller is presenting facts based on his own perspective / experience just as Dr Bhatti is presenting facts based on his own perspective with FUE and experience.

My question for you is to what extent is Dr Feller's assertions more objectively factual than Dr Bhatti's with reference to clinical studies and data? (Ie can you demonstrate how Dr Feller's assertions are more supported by data than Dr Bhatti's in regards to FUT popularity, his three forces claim, FUE density compared with FUT etc)

If you can't you should qualify your statement that he is presenting true facts (and the same goes for the Dr B camp too)

  6. I wouldn't go to a doctor who doesn't speak English (I.e Dr Doganay). Being able to communicate with the doctor is something I would not compromise on. Dr De Reys is good and does manual FUE I believe. I would also consult with Dr Demisroy who is possibly the best FUE doc in the world in his price range.

PS if you haven't done so already check out this informative thread on doc de reys

  7. Hey Dr Feller, what is your view on buzzing the recipient before 12 months? I think you have said many years ago that you don't recommend it and I'm wondering if you are still of that view, and if so why? (I was of the opinion that after 14 days the grafts were permanent as per Dr Bernstein's study and using clippers would have no affect on the grafts)

  8. It does appear at some point (towards the latter stages of his role as a moderator) that Blake would have had a conflict of interest due to his association with a predominantly FUT based practice. Now, whether that was disclosed to Bill or the community is something I don't know. Also I'm not sure Blake necessarily said anything to profit from his association with Feller, so even though there may have been a conflict of interest at some point, I don't think Blake has acted on it in bad faith.

  9. If you like your hair short then going for FUT doesn't make sense. The surgeon you have consulted with is not a big proponent of FUE so of course he is going to steer you towards FUT

I would seriously consult with a lot more docs. Your hair loss pattern also does not lend itself to having a transplant at this stage (IMO), for the reasons Swooping has given.
