  1. Count me in too. I have tried few times and failed to get a reply from Dr. Koray's clinic. I finally gave up. I am not turkish and will be flying away after the procedure. So I am worried that this kind of poor communication may turn out to be a post-op nightmare in case I need any help. He may be the best FUE surgeon in Turkey, but that is not all that matters! Post-op care with speedy communication is extremely important for me!
  2. Copied from a report posted on 'Ripoff Report' on 08/31/2013 07:31 AM about Rogaine foam?
  3. abcd0000, on 08-03-2013 you said: "There was also another patient at the clinic in another room." Please have a look here
  4. From my research: Dr. Maral plans and supervises the operation. All the work is done by nurses and technicians. Not the doctor. Dr. Demirsoy performs all the extractions himself, and he opens the recipient sites himself. Graft placement is done by his assistants.
  5. Few days following hair transplant surgery (including FUE), some patients say they experience nerve pain. Sometimes referred as occipital nerve pain, post-op nerve sensitivity or neuropathic pain. This pain is believed to be caused by damaged nerves. The main symptom is sharp pain at the donor area + very sensitive to touch. Gets worse at night for some reason. I have read that this may be caused by trauma to the occipital nerve during administration of the local anaesthetic. Does a manual punch vs motorized punch make any difference? Is this caused by the punch going too deep? What do you think? Have you experienced this? On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad was your pain? When did it start? How long did it last? How did you treat it? How can this be avoided?
  6. Thank you all. @AeroX @Badboi Dr. Eser Aydogdu does various forms of plastic surgery and doesn't concentrate on hair transplant procedures alone. I read her rates are around Euro 1.5 per graft. But not too many reviews available here. I would prefer a clinic that predominately focuses on hair transplants only. Some of the pictures here scared me. I have never seen a post-op donor this gruesome! @Future_HT_Doc Thanks. It may help a lot of us if you can somehow convince Dr. Koray Erdogan to reply his emails more frequently. @fueonly Thanks. @Mask Thanks. Dr. Hakan Doganay is a great FUE doctor, I agree. He uses micro-motor and Choi Implanter. Charges Euro 2 per graft. Dr. Bhatti and Dr. Demirsoy are at least 50% cheaper, 1 Euro or below. (both of them uses micro-motor too).
  7. Looking forward to forum members help. Considering a FUE transplant. I was told I need about 3500 grafts. I have researched this forum and a few others. My first choice is Dr Koray Erdogan. But communication seems to a huge issue with his clinic. It takes ages to get an email reply. If you call, the person who answers does not understand English. So this can become a post-op nightmare! I love his results and he uses manual punch! But a bit out of my budget and communicating remains a huge issue for me. So I shortlisted Dr Erkan Demirsoy (Turkey) & Dr Tejinder Bhatti (India), both offers similar rates, and are within my budget. I know neither of them are recommended by this forum. That doesn't mean they produce bad results, right? So between Dr Erkan Demirsoy and Dr Tejinder Bhatti who would you pick? and why? Thanks.
