    A good ht should last alot longer than a few years, as for no evaluation before surgery alarm bells should be ringing loud and clear to stay away.You have alot of choice of good ethical docs on this forum, if the price means waiting abit longer, in the long term it will be worth it. Take your time and do plenty of research. good luck

    I know what you are going through, vanity,guilt spending alot of money on yourself in such bad economic times. There will always be something better to spend the money on always!!. But from my own experience telling my wife was one of the best things i have done, i mentally tortured myself for weeks about telling her what i was going to do and how much it was going to cost, she told me to go for it because she knew how important it was to me. If you get chance have a look at one of my first posts and replies under " secret ht" i hope it helps. good luck mgem

    Go for it. I am about 3 months postop it's not as bad as i thought, after 3 weeks or so i was back into my usual routine, work etc, i couldn't wear a hat to work so i started using concealers, nobody has spotted or said anything, they're not perfect but they do help. A few more months and i will hopefully be rid of my bald patch that i have tried to hide for 30 odd years. Good luck. mgem

    I stopped wearing a hat after 2 weeks when i went back to work, and started using a concealer and so far so good, nobody has noticed or at least they haven't said anything. Congrats on your ht
