    Thanks for the comments. Since posting last update, it seems i have started shedding. Dont know if this coincides with starting Minox the other day, but id say ive lost 20% of transplanted hair.

    Well, this is my point. It shouldn't be biased if people on here say if they did or didnt have sides. As for Minox - ive just started and everywhere i read people are talking about face bloating/bags under eyes etc. This is why a simple vote by the group of people on this website would give a fair overview.

    Is there a poll function on here? Seeing as i cant find it, i thought it'd be useful to get a simple poll of weather people did or did not have sides on these drugs. Generally it seems that people who have negative sides come online and complain about it, whereas people who dont have sides just get on with things. So can we get some replies on this. I will start; Fin - 1mg a day, Sides? yes, big loss of libido Minox - Not yet, just started

    Well i have started shedding - but im 4 weeks after HT, so i should be shedding by now. Im more concerned with these side effect ive read about. I wish we really knew what percent of people actually get wrinkles/bloating..

    Well ive just started Minox 5% a month after my HT, This is my first time using Minox aswell - should i bee concerned? Since21 -yes there is a chart someone posted on here, im sure it will be re posted by a helpful person.

    Well obviously there 'shouldn't' be any haters on here - but there is. That's life, that's the internet. But if he starts posting positive results he can have the last laugh. Doesn't bother me either way.

    Best way to stop the haters is show them your results. Just block messages from unpleasent people.. Shame to miss out on a good forum.. BTW - is there really meant to be a 'pimpley spotty' phase? Surely should all be healed up on top by then..

    When is it possible to tell a graft has failed? Is it just a case of it not growing? Do these failed ones leave a trace or scar? thanks

    Two week update. No shedding yet and donor pain all but gone unless touched, where its still a bit sensitve.

    Will look like the biggest ever shed when you have a shower at night Interesting idea though to mix it with some fibres.

    Yes, but i think the issue some people are having with FUE pain (myself included) is the delayed onset and the intensity of it. Getting an ear pierced would only be very short term pain.

    Sucks doesn't it? I was on it for 5 months and literlly had no boners randomly. Been off it a month or so now, and im pitching a tent every morning for the last week or so... No exageration unfortunately. Its a toss up between hair or boners. (no pun intended)

    Same here. Pain started on about 4th/5th day. Started to calm down day 10 Its really rather unpleasant, the worse pain of the whole procedure. Kept awake at night. It gets ALOT worse as the evening draws on. It wasnt really a problem in the day, but after 7pm it really got painful. Im 14 days out today, and still have traces of it. can still be uncomfortable on sleeping on my back with my head on the pillow - but nothing like before. Top of my head is a bit numb still, but no pain. This is something not to be overlooked with FUE.

    Im in a similar situation to you. Been researching alot on shampoos, and ive decided to go with a 'natural' shampoo that doesn't have sulfates (SLS) or silicon in. (Body Shop for example) A recent study showed Johnson Baby Shampoo to have formaldehyde in (Not to mention SLS) - so i wouldn't fall for the 'baby' label. Im curious about buzzing my hair soon aswell. Im also tempted to let it grow and return to hopefully as it was before. I dont see that buzzing with a guard of some sort on will do any harm.

    Thanks for your input Matt. Looks like you've had a cracking result, interested to see you Propecia regime.. Im loathed to get back on it, but once a week i could probably manage. How did you find the side effects on a weekly dose?

    HI, just an update now 8 days in. All scabs off, and most of the hair still there. IM applying alow vera gel a few times a day to reduce redness. Witch Hazel coming soon. What do you guys think of the density? There are a few more gaps than id have hoped for..

    At the end of the day - as long as you are gentle and dont towel rub or blast with a hot hairdryer, your not going to do any real harm, So long as those grafts stay put, you can wash twice a day or once a week as far as i can tell. My doc told me to apply cream every day and wash out with shampoo for the first week. Then move on to cream 3 times a day to soften scabs thereafter. Probably doesnt make a whole lot of difference what way you do it.

    I had the same problem with the cream i was told to apply. However this just absorbed into the skin. After the next few days you can use a soft toothbrush and brush towards your face, this might help removed trapped shampoo and loose scabs.

    I dont think grafts are safely in until 7 days. You might want a little more than 4 days off work. I just had my HT, and you have to account for swelling etc. Try and get a week off, and you will be good to CAREFULLY wear a hat.

    Boots charge 90 quid for a 3 months supply (90 pills basically) But if you halve these and take them EOD like some people - thats gonna last a long time.

    You'd probably have a great result with 2000+ grafts. Have a look at Turkey, Maybe Dr Demirsoy. Dr Maral if your bugjet is really tight. Your hairloss isnt too bad. Good luck.
