  1. I saw your reply. Just checked out your photos. You seem to be healing well. Looking forward to updates. Are you the only actual patient of Doganay on these forums? What made you decide to go with him? What was his facility like? Clean, professional?
  2. did you have a surgery with dr. diep? did you consult with him? personally i consulted with him and decided not to go with him. consultation felt rushed as he was consulting during/inbetween surgery.
  3. i consulted with him. the guy reeked of salesman. i personally decided not to go with him, as i just didn't get a good feeling. just my opinion
  4. come on, there must some? How do turkish doctors get on the recommended list if there aren't any real life forum users with testimonials? oh, and I was wondering. do these doctors speak fluent english? is communicating with them going to a problem for prospective english speaking patients? this is something i just thought of...communication is very important.

  6. Two weeks in, the grafts are anchored and will not fall out. I wouldn't worry. I recommend breathable caps, such as the Outside Research cap.
  7. Wondering if FUT suture/staple closure creates a forehead lift or face lift effect? Or maybe even a lifting of the ears? When Removing an inch or so of scalp from the back of the head and pulling the top and bottom together, there must be some visible change to the face or ear sright?
  8. 4 pages, still no testimonials with pics from real life experiences traveling to turkey for FUE?
  9. fantastic job. these hairs could technically grow as long as the hairs on her head then right? or do the hairs conform to the predisposed genetic terminal length of the surrounding brow hairs?
  10. thats what 13k grafts looks like? wonder what it would like it if he grew it out to a couple inches.
  11. So for someone who is a Norwood 3, and has family genetic history of Norwood 5, would FUE make sense? Not to start a subtopic, but I'm hoping I can get a few replies to this question. I'm assuming that it doesn't really make a difference. So why not just do FUE? and as your balding progresses, you can just do more FUE procedures as needed? This way you avoid the smiley face scar on the back of the head, so you'll always have the option of shaving your head if the balding reaches a point where your donor area can't keep up. As far as turkey travel safety...good question. Acts of violence against US Citizens is a threat according to the travel safety site. Hmmm Hoping someone can share their experience with us. Anyone have any links to overseas forums where the doctors in turkey are reviewed and talked about by patients the way American doctors are journaled on hairrestorationnetwork forums?
  12. Good looking scar. Does konior used two layers of stitches plus staples? Anyone know what closure method he uses?
  13. Good looking scar. Does konior used two layers of stitches plus staples?
  14. Who here can shair their experience and results with us? Seriously considering Turkey for FUE. The work looks incredible and the price is just unmatchable in the states. Plus I love to travel. Really hoping some people from the US can share their experience,
  15. It's so sad, because its likely the patient was introduced to this surgeon through this forum and the Hair Restoratiom Networks recommendation. How can you recommend this surgeon to people? The doctor doesn't even answer follow up questions for patient. I'm baffled.
  16. To the OP, thank you so much for sharing your story and letting us see your progress. This is extremely educational, and useful for prospective HT patients. Why is the hair transplant network standing behind a clinic that produces these results?
  17. Hi spanker, I would kill to have the hairline and density you had before your surgery. Maybe I'm not seeing something, but you he's embed to have a thick head of hair with a very nice hairline before your surgery. Either way, your hair looks great before and after. I am jealous.
  18. Very much looking forward to seeing the final result of this case. Think it could be a good one. Bookmarking this thread
  19. All of your points are based on false assumptions. I'm dropping it....You're welcome to join.
  20. Johnny, and I hope your procedure goes well in three months. I hope to get mine done by then as well. Lets just hope for the best for both of us in regards to our hair restoration journey. This balding thing really stinks. Here's to moving on from worrying about our scalps, and resuming living our lives.
  21. Johnny, Thanks for the reply. Again, I am sorry that you view my posts as having some sort of "tone",however I feel I explained myself well enough in my last post. I am not exactly sue what I am being accused of here. That my questions aren't phrased in a nice way? I need to introduce myself in a thread before asking questions? Either way, lets be "fair to the creator of this thread", and agree to disagree and to stop cluttering his thread with our petty disagreements. Honestly we cannot afford to be so edgy and angry....as that causes stress....which can cause hairloss...and we are all here for a mutual purpose, and that is to find ways to treat our hairloss. lets get more positive. Moving on..
  22. You're paranoid. I am highly considering Konior as my HT doc, which is why you see me in all his threads. Asking questions is now considered having an agenda and considered unpleasant? Not a good way to think. Getting a hair transplant is a very scary thing for me. And I am going to ask as many questions as I need to and want to, until it becomes less scary, at which point I can dive in and get one. Sorry if my process doesn't not match your process. I am educating myself, and you are mistaking my eagerness as unpleasant. I think koniors before afters are amazing, that is why he is in my top 3 HT doc candidates. And it is also why I talk about him so much. That is my agenda.
  23. I am very relaxed. You mistakenly read my post in the wrong tone. I have not had a procedure done yet. But rest assured, when I do, I will either post nothing, or post a thread with photos included. We are here for information regarding a procedure that produces aesthetic visual changes to our appearance. Therefore it is important for threads like this to come with some sort of visual element, because in the end the visible results are all that matters. Now, lets not hijack this mans thread. Lets let him respond with some photos. Thanks Neil
