Well I didn't want to make this about threats and or fears.. More so a list of people of have had a ht out of the country who live in the usa. I live in the use and want to look into fue.. Just apprehensive about leaving the country.. Not for threats on my life, but more about laws and regulations. What I am saying is I know America and I know how things work if there is a problem. In a foreign. Country I don't.

Just curious as to how many people from the USA have went out of the country to have a FUE... price isn't why i am looking its more for who is known for what. so if anyone within the U.S knows a good doc let me know. Sorry as i know this has been talked about before, but it was dated!

So I have to speak. I have met dr k and he suggested f Fut. Then fue. I believe it's because my satisfaction is to high and he said a fue for me will help him pick better grafts individually . As far as pricing it's about fue cost 6 to 7 k more for 2000 grafts than fut. We have exchanged a ton of emails and have a phone call this week, but like everyone says its so hard to not go fut over fue with the successe he has and the little scar he leaves. My main deal is having a ht then having to have another one and maybe another one. At fue prices that's if you round up 60k!!!! And I don't care what anyone says taking propecia isn't smart. I plan to take it for a ht then get off it after 8 months.

I agree I would rather have shaved my head than had that outcome. What's another 3000 grafts going to do... At least this dr shows real photos and realistic before and after. I will say that dr A your pics are the real deal. You don't always show the top teir results.. Thank you for that. Guess that's why your are a good dr. Remind me to see you

i know.. it's just so frustrating that so many people are all over the map.. if i had more than 2 people say ok this is what i would do then great i would, but i get no consistency. maybe the kicker is i am in sales and knowing that i view everything as a sales pitch.

Ok i have clearly lost my mind on DR's and those who "represent" them. lately i keep getting the feel that no one will shoot me straight. If one more person tells me i need to be on FIN i might slap someone. I would like to talk to someone who actually knows something and knows of a DR that will talk to me. i will pay you for your time if its valuable. I don't need another person "representing" a dr who just says get on FIN and then in a year seek a HT. i will travel to any DR within the U.S recommended or not on this site.

Yeah don't take what I said wrong. Dr k is an amazing dr. Hell I meet him and wanted to use him but he kept pushing fue. I just dont think I want an fut procedure especially at the density rate I was quoted. I could get close to two fut procedures from dr k for the price of an fue. Dr k is a hero and changed many men's lives. Straight up honest guy. Like I said I wanted to use him for fut, but he suggest fue and at double the price I just can't do it.... Especially if I will need more than one procedure

Agreed... He is known for fut. i mean I haven't seen anyone with an fue by dr k.. Go see dr Allen

Could you afford to get another transplant within say, 5 years, just in case things progress for the worse? (not sure if you are on meds but your profile suggests not). i am on Fin 1mg M W F 2. You are probably best opting for FUE unless you really don't care for the shaved head look and committed to 2-3 transplants. I dont' care about a shaved head if i get solid results. but why do you recommend a FUE vs FUT? 3. Be willing to accept that there will be shock loss and the fact you may look worse for 1-6 months. if it grows back sure! Generally the miniaturising hairs are the most liable to disappear, either as a result of the trauma or MPB. If they are getting finer then they are on their last legs anyway so it's no point worrying about them. I would hope the doc would take this into account when implanting around existing hairs, taking care to avoid damaging the healthy looking hairs. It goes without saying that you should go to someone with a proven track record in this sort of work. __________________

gezz us this guy looks like he is ready for TV.. question. taking testosterone and fin at the same time??? never heard of taking both? seems like they would just cancel out, but then again i don't know anything about all that.

so i have been on here for some time trying to figure out what i should do. I want more desity. i am 33 years of age. my concern is getting a HT and filling in the areas. then losing my native hair due to shock loss. i would love to good questions to ask DR's. any help would greatly appreciated

Glad to hear. I met with dr. Konior and Tom a couple months ago among with a bunch of other Drs everyone claiming to be one of the best. Yes I have hair but I am thinning, and I agree with you who cares over 50. Now till 50 that's about all I care about. Anyway dr k was super cool and he is on my list for top three. My question is do you have pic of your hair before you shaved your head?? I was recommended getting 15 to 2 fut from all the Drs including dr k
