  1. Awesome to hear all these nice comments - thanks heaps

@HTSoon - thanks for your comments, I stayed at The Altius - they have improved alot in 2 years

@Balding Blogger - thanks mate, Dr Bhatti thinks I still have 500 in the bank plus heaps for BHT

@esrec - all i had in the hair line was 100ish grafts that i dislodged 2 years ago, i can take a new photo soon

@pkipling - the earthquake hit about 40minutes into placing of the grafts, lying there seeing your grafts swaying from left to right in the saline water tray was frightening, one of the techy's grabbed them and held on to them with all her life, the quake lasted about 90seconds

  2. On Monday 26th Oct Northern India suffered a 7.5 earthquake and at the same time I went under the knife again with Dr Bhatti. Yes that’s correct mid operation the earthquake hit and was panic stations everywhere, Darling Buds staff were amazing in such a scary situation, we all safely evacuated the building while I was all wrapped up in bandages.

Previously I’ve had 2 FUE procedures with Dr Bhatti, which included 1500 into the crown 1500 hair line and 1000 to mid-scalp a total of 4000 FUE. During my 3rd pre op meeting he took close up photos of my donor area as you can see after 4000 FUE virtually zero scarring, this will allow me to shave down in the future. we decided the best approach was 100 for the hair line and as many for the crown as possible expecting 500 remained in the donor area. During the harvesting Dr Bhatti felt he could extract at least 750 which was great, he ended up harvesting 785, so we went for 130 grafts to my right front hair line and 655 to my crown. Happy Days, he is very confident that now I'll a nice all over head of hair.

I am now at 3 weeks post op, nothing major to report, the 14 day post care period was about routine as you would expect. Here are some pics, I’ll add more as time goes by.

  3. i think SMP is your best line of attack. get the lowered hair line look that makes for a bad ass shaved look. Under no circumstances go FUT if you are already a shaved kind of guy, and if you are a NW5 at 28 good chance you will be needing 6000-7000 grafts over the next few years, thus eliminating FUE due to maxing out your donor area. SMP for you mate

  4. No it's actually true and has been proven with the following study that was conducted. The England national rugby, cricket and soccer players were all allowed to use Fin. A special investigation has ruled that Fin was the primary reason all three England teams got knocked out of the last cricket, rugby, and soccer world cups respectively, although the England rugby team being forced to only wear Samsung headphones also contributed.

    funny and yet true

  5. my experience is 50 50 on this matter, I think working out a even balance with dosage is important for your HT and sexual needs, I went down to 1mg 3 - 4 times a week and minoxidol 5% each day, I think in your case because your hair loss has been slow and quite minimal if you decided not to use fin and planned for HT when needed I think that would be AOK

  6. yes at best 1200-1300 combined, the important fact is he's over the moon with the results, however its misleading that its failed fue when actually its not a great FUT result as well, which again leads me to feel he's just a poor grower. Blake you said it yourself he looks like 1600, when he already started with grafts so really it should look like 2000 - 2200 which confirms he is just not a good grower

  7. @ Blakey !! its a great improvement no can deny that, but the image from on top that I shared (post op) clearly shows a completely different story to the photo front on with dry hair (hiding the gap) of 1600 FUT, really does not look like 1600 thus making me come to the conclusion that he is just not a great grower, remember you added 1600 to his original hair line, combined looks barely 1200 again i can only come to one conclusion that he is not a good grower. finally where is the before 1700 FUE photos, id very interested to know what he started out with

  8. I agree with all the comments here, HOWEVER you are the "NEXT GENERATION" in hair restoration that FUE is designed for. Get in early and get the most out of younger years, thus avoiding the years when hair loss can cause depression, its in our youth when we need our hair the most. why not do 5 sessions of 1000 FUE grafts spread over 10 years, its an option that might suit your needs.

  9. Hey mate, Im from Australia and the price australian clinics offer you may as well save your money and travel overseas, and in your case with the amount of hair loss, I think you are boarder line case for FUE. Im sure you will be able to get back a decent hairline but your loss in your crown would very difficult to get back with FUE only. Dr Bhatti only performs FUE and BHT he may perform a mega session over two days with you, 1000 BHT and 3500 FUE but with your loss I doubt that would be enough - 18months later you maybe able to get another 1000 FUE gratfs and after that I you'll be all out of grafts and I think you'll be still behind the 8 ball, I think FUT is your only way to get on top of things with your hair loss, I think in the range of 7000 - 8000 FUT over two sessions is what you will be looking at. anyway take care all the best
