looks like you have plenty of grafts left in the tank.... another 500 into the crown will do it i rekon
-
Hypothermosol - only guessing here but thats just a solution pretty sure all clinics would use the same
-
several reasons why you should be a little concerned, as stated by John the day will be VERY LONG for you, my first session was 3000 and I was at my limits, but the biggest concern is the time the grafts are outside your head. the longer they sit outside the less chance of survival. you may want to ask your Dr how is plans to approach the session, if he says we extract all 4000 then implant I would look elsewhere however if he says, we extract 2000 then implant the hairline, the we extract 2000 more and then implant the mid scalp and crown then perfect. the day will start around 7am and finish around 7pm. best of luck dude

you will have a killer result

A bit of a catch 22 here, 11 months frizzy but looks thicker, 14 months his hairs look natural but clearly has less density. is the patient planning on a 2nd HT to fill in the crown, he wears his hair nice a long to cover any scarring makes sense to have another 3000 or more.
-
II think patients are insane to be paying so much for FUE in the States when the FUE surgeons in Europe are better and substantially cheaper. What possible concern could you have with jumping on a plane for a procedure? Just man up and do it.
absolutely!
-
@ Mikeey -
in the correct hands FUE is scarless - i took the Feller challenge and shave to #0 and you cannot see any scars I regular have my hair cut #1 blend thats after 4700 FUE, i have photos you can have a look and judge for yourself.
75-80% yeild, In the correct hands such as Dr Bhatti survival rate i think is above some FUT clinics, plus his cherry picking method means you get more bang for buck with a higher rate of 3 & 4 grafts covering more area for less grafts.
I think that FUT is still being performed for 2 reasons
1st, Price point, generally speaking FUT is cheaper
2nd, You scar yourself once you will scar yourself again. many people return for a second or third HT or as Feller says, strip strip until you cannot strip no more, then go FUE,
-
if you're seeking a transplant and needing 4500+ grafts go FUT but if not go FUE, there is enough success stories out there that prove FUE is perfect for guys in the NW4-5 range and who love having short fashionable hair cuts, why bother scarring yourself for life running from one problem head first into another problem. You just have to watch the amount of SMP videos on youtube with guys who have had decent FUT HT but ultimately failed exposing their massive scar. The back up plan, the escape routes, what ever you want to call it FUE for now has what alot of guys are seeking, freedom to buzz down. why on earth do FUT supporters always bring up the 95% survival rate as their safe guide to a problem free life ahead of them, where are the tests on patience who are 15 years down the track 20 years down the track, many of these guys are running around the place with monk style hair cuts, worrying about hiding their scar, spending awkward moments in hairdressers explaining where the scar came from, im not making this up people post these comments here, thats the reality of FUT, FUE would never had come along if it wasn't for so many horror stories, both have their pro's n con's.....

Why so?
Do you see general plastic surgeons doing strip surgery on the side in your area?.
absolutely I do. I live in Thailand and the two main places for transplants Bangkok and Chiang Mai are by plastic surgeons in clinics
-
you lost me at my local (US) - this site is heavily driven by the US market, there are plenty of dedicated FUE surgeons around the world
-
Meanwhile FUT will be left only to those who are dedicated HT doctors.
what nonsense
-
fantastic result
-
great result with lots & lots of FUE grafts left in the bank
-
very nice
-
im unsure if the census would be that accurate, im unsure whether or not it calculates new hair transplants or the total amount. if it is new first timers then FUE would be far far more popular, there is little point calculating the total number if a large percentage have already had FUT done.

Looking great at 3.5 months, your in for a home run result good stuff Seth.
cheers mate...
-
hey guys, at 3.5months just got back from the barber shop (blade #1 around the back) but what i was surprised to see already hairs filled in where Dr Bhatti did the front right side of my hairline.
decent improvement already.... pretty wrapped, the crown however is a different story, lets wait a few more months yet before updating that...
-
those 9 month photos look great, massive improvement... well done dude
-
D t the constant bashing of fue patients on here is really bad.
its ok we enjoy it a bit of FUE bashing, we also enjoy our hair despite this after 1 year its gone again, we also enjoy our short hair cuts, we also enjoy not having to explain to our hairdresser that can you be careful of that scar, lots of advantages but i think you get my drift
-
here we go again

avoid the camera and mirror.... best advice....not long at all now... funny thing happened, the globe in the bathroom blew so instead of changing the lightbulb im using candles so i cant see my progress... sounds stupid but ive stopped looking in the mirror... honestly ill fix it this weekend.. take care buddy

Feller believes in STRIP STRIP STRIP until STRIPPED OUT!! then FUE -
Meds - I believe meds are just as important for maintaining your HT - most of us here will agree, very few won't, i also believe you take hair from the safe zones and place them into the danger zones you subject them to DHT so you need the meds to avoid this. You will also need meds to stop any further hair loss.
Once you commit to a HT whether which method you choose you will to realise its the first step in years of care to maintain the best look.
-
Dr Bhatti believes that temple peaks is important for a natural look
-
I can just imagine the anti-FUE rants he must get in to after a few cocktails, I'd fly out to New York just to see it rounds on me for feller and bloxham.
id bait our dear Dr Allen.... exposing my 4700 fue scars over a mojito or two..... it would be a great occasion one full of laughs on both sides...

Hey Raj - unsure if I have said this here before (I think i have) but I also use a table spoon of extra virgin olive oil and 5 drops of tea tree oil for cleaning my scalp. I do this for about a week each night takes 5minutes, then i stop for a few weeks, i truly believe it helps a lot for clearing out the pores and moisturising the skin... thus giving a boost to the fragile transplants. worth giving it a go buddy
