  1. well than please tell us exactlly where the hair was transplanted,, did any go into the crown? or was it just front and mid scalp?
  2. you may experience shock loss in both recipient and donor area, there isnt much at all you can do to prevent it, it just luck, but dont worry most of the time it does come back, is your face swollen yet?
  3. i bet you would be pretty happy for a while if you had ur ht (fue or fut) and did smp in the crown, for now, strip is for people who have or will in the future have extensive loss so its up to you
  4. i had shock loss in the donor and its about 85-90 percent recovered after 5 months, theres a patch that may not come back, but oh well i guess ya win some ya lose some, long as the outcome is income (in this case ,hair) hahaha
  5. i think it looked exceptionally thick in that video because of the lighting, correct me if im wrong joe
  6. wow 6 cm, pulled out a ruler and dam thats alot! ur a lucky guy u would have been basically a norwood 7 given how low ur sides and back looked, and u did all that with only scalp hair, amazing
  7. u look so happy in that video haha,, joe why do you think you required such a high amount of grafts? 9k is alot
  8. This guy gets more women than any celeb it's crazy
  9. i consulted with dr dorin and really liked him, im a norwood 4 as well and he recommended 1700 grafts for me as well, i choose dr feller and am still waiting for the results, IMO 35 grafts per cm2 is low, a bare min of 40-45 should be used, did u consider consulting with dr feller? hes also in new york
  10. you can get a ok result, the crown will have to be left bald and the hair will be somewhat see threw, see threw kinda like the way mine looks, so not to bad, and maybe some smp work wouldn't hurt, there is hope
  11. no it looks good, its funny i had my ht 5 months ago and got 2048 grafts, only 1 more than you, the scar looks how it should, i was also concerned about it in the beginning, but take a look at my pics and you will see mine looked the same
  12. im not 100 percent sure, but i dont think rogain gets you thick hair, a little more than fuzz tho
  13. well some better pics would help along with immediate post op pics and a pic of the donor and also a 1 ye\r post op pic
  14. can you show me some of your pics,, i can see your main pic but id like to see some better ones, from that pic you look to be closer to a norwood 5
  15. hmm, a norwood 6 at 26? would love to see your pics, im 25 and a norwood 4 and cant say that iv ever seen anyone my age with worse hair than me, again at my age
  16. wow thats really nice for only 4.5 months, im jealous , very natural looking
  17. thanks for the replies everyone, i will be patient , as if i had a choice hahaha,, and see what happens, hoping that next month i wont have to wear a hat anymore
  18. dr dorin is great, as is dr feller, fue will leave you with no noticeable scar and its more time consuming witch is why its more expensive, if you can afford it go with fue. BUT in general fue has a lower survival rate than fut, people will say its not true but its something to consider, if you wear your hair long to begin with and hiding the fut scar isnt an issue than go fut .02$
  19. I maid a pic stitch of month 4 and 5 I guess there's a small change,, when I asked him about how many grafts per cm2 he said, "I generally put anywhere from 40 to 60" so that dosent really help
  20. so its been 5 months now, and i no i shouldn't be critical yet but i cant help but feel a little let down at this stage, i think from month 4 to month 5 i should have had a big jump in density witch i have not, matter fact i dont think anything has happened since last month, if by next month i dont see anything going on im gonna start to worry ,, please give me you input guys id love to hear it
