  1. Btw.. he used to perform FUT. But New Jersey Plastic Surgery (that's the name) Flys in technicians two weeks out of each month.
  2. Isn't neograft basically FUE? What is the problem with neograft ?
  3. Also. He said I would need about 2000 grafts to make my hair line lower and add density to my crown which is very thin and noticable. I have been using Topik concealer but does that make hair loss worse? They gave me a cost of 12 for 2000 grafts. Seems very high.
  4. Has anyone ever had a procedure done by Dr. DI I Bernardo ? Actually by his technicians because he doesn't actually do the procedure he only measures out where you need your grafts placed. I met with Dr. True and Dorin last year. Tad expensive for me. I have been on Finasteride for 8 months now (still experience hair loss however) I met with Dr. Dibernardo last week in his office. His nurse took me up to even see a FUE procedure being done and I spoke to the technician and the gentleman getting it done. They were both very relaxed and I did feel more comfortable after seeing that. Anyway... any info I can get?
  5. Hello. I met with Dr. DI BERNARDO last week. You can private message me and we can chat on our two experienes.

  6. I went to visit the Dr. Dibernardo last week. I actually saw a procedure being done upstairs as well. And I met the technician doing the procedure and he was kind to answer all of my questions. I also met the gentleman getting the FUE and he seemed very calm. Private message me I would like to talk more.
  7. I would love to know all of these answers myself, sadly I doubt anybody knows
  8. 28 years of age, I am about to take the plunge into Finasteride. My regular Dr. said that I should experience so side affects, and it is generally safe, while also stating that once I am on this, I have to plan on staying on it forever (I'm not a pill man, I barely take Advil). I have the prescritpion in hand, now just deciding to go all in... Hair Dr.s I spoke with said I can start off with a .5mg early, to let my body get used to it then transition into the regular 1 mg dosage. I have read numerous people say Propcia/Finasteride did not work with them (side effect wise-I don't want to screw up my libido!), and some stating they wish they went on earlier than they did and no side effects, so I guess everyone is differnet. My hair loss around my crown is becomming evident, however when I use Troppik you can't notice really anything. My frontal hairline is receiced around the sides, with a decent dense front. Class 3 Vertex I am deciding between a FUT (because of he price and density they say comes with it compared to FUE, but am not ruling FUE out with the intent of always having shorter hair... But my second auestion with FUE is, HOW SHORT? If one day I just give up after having a FUE and stop with the Finasteride, would I be able to just shave it all off with no noticable signs of punch grafts? Thanks!
  9. No I have only been using Rogaine for 4 years. No Propecia. Afraid of side affects
  10. here you go. My torn issue is thatb I am 28... and I can fill in my frontal hairline... which may be anywhere from 1000-1200 grafts. The Dr. advised to not dense the crown area too much to avoid using up my donner area. I am in a bindy siutation, because my crown area bothers me, but I presume to lose more hair into the future...
  11. Before I go on, I want to say I have been doing extensive research these last 8 months. I've decided to go with Dr. True & Dorin after meeting with Dr. True on two seperate occasions. He said I will need about 1600 grafts. I have apretty bad receding hairline, and my crown is very thin and a bald spot is really starting to form. Besides that, using Toppik has concealed that and I've been putting my front hair to the side. Anyway, I am ready to make an appointment with Dr. dorin, but am TORN between FUT and FUE. I don't plan on shaving my head in the future (which is why I plan on surgery) and I never have had a pure crew cut in my entire life. I don't mind my hair being longer in the back and having the scar, which from Dr. Dorin's work, seems to be very hidden beneath the hair. I also have read that with FUE, if I go forward with a second procedure in the future, the grafts will not be as good as with FUT. Can I have some opinions please whoever has used Dr. Dorin or Dr. True, or anyone who has had a hair transplant and which they used. I've been very depressed for over a year about my hair, and I think I just need to take the plunge, but it's a big step.
  12. Also, has anyone experienced bad side effects with Fin or Propecia. I am very afraid to take this...
