6 month update Mixed feelings! The gratfs that were implanted have grown out okayish. Overall, there has been some improvement to my hair in terms of thickness and density. Happy how beard and donor recovered it looks completely untouched! The way the surgeons and technicians extract is second to none! Unhappy with planning stage, i was told the area behind hairline would be filled. This was over the phone/video and also in person on day of surgery. Lines were drawn and at no point was i told no hairs would be put there. See earlier pics for reference. You can clearly see now that area is sparse, with better planning and consultation i wouldve had a full head of hair now! At no stage was i told no hairs would be put in the area: if this was the case i wouldnt have had the transplant! Now i need to get that fixed, @Eugenix Hair Scienceshave told me to wait a couple of months but my question is, how will it get better when no grafts were put there? It was after day 2 of surgery i realised they werent going to put any grafts, by then i was shattered and we were leaving for home the next day. They told me finnestaride will do the job - but i was quite bald there before so realistically better planning and consulatation would better my result. Overall : unhappy please share your view and opinions, thanks for reading.

This is unacceptable from them, there has been little progress I feel your concerns. @Eugenix Hair Sciences It is time to allow this patient a conclusion here and start planning the next steps on fixing his hair. I know you say to wait a year but it is clear here this isn’t meeting his expectations!

Wow wow wooow!! This result is just so inspiring and I bet you must be over the moon! I can’t find a single fault with that head lf hair you have smashed it! hoping even if i get half of what u have ill be happy!!!

Thanks for an update. Again I really hope you get a late growth spurt but this unfortunately doesnt look great ill be honest. @Eugenix Hair Sciences will say wait till 12 months but im sure if it doenst improve they will do something to help you?

Thank you for your kind comments, I am hoping at month 5 I can stop using fibres. Overall expectations: if you see my first post my hair 1 year after my first surgery.

MONTH 4 UPDATE Hi all, Please see pics of 4 months in decent lighting. At the moment I feel I am just getting back to pre HT. I am hoping the next 2-3 months I will get huge growth and the hairs will start to thicken. Exciting times ahead I can feel hairs sprouting now… My donor area has recovered from this HT but the scars are clearly visible from previous HT. I will also post a pik with hair fibres in… at the moment they make my hair look amazing!!!! I wish i can style that without the fibres in a few months??? Thoughts guys??

Read the comment properly, he was told the density wont be as good not it takes longer!

I had a similar HT to you from @Eugenix Hair Sciences and wasnt told beard hairs wont give a good density! Iv had 2200 beard hairs implanted in my crown so I hope this is not the case!

Hope you get some late growth, thank you for a detailed update! I just wanted to say for 3000 grafts and 8 months in it does look slightly worrying, lets wait till 1 year and see like @Eugenix Hair Scienceshave asked. It will be amazing if you get that late growth spurt that some do get…

3 Month Update Hi fellow users, I hit the 3 month mark today and managed to take some pictures. I feel I have still not recovered and hair is looking a lot worse than before my HT. I know it is way too early to see progress, but I was expecting it to be pre ht state by now. Regarding my donor area, it is looking horrible at the moment and I know it was bad before the transplant but had high hopes with Eugenix extractions that it would look better than before. Again I will give it another 2-3 months to see some inprovements. I am having to use toppik fibres daily which actually gives my hair a good look. I will update some pics at Month 4 - my expectations: - hair at least looking like before transplant - donor area recovered slightly Please add your thoughts and advice that will be useful. Thanms for this write up, hope you get the results you hope for, this is only 3 months and looking good already… stay patient. I was there in July too and will reach the 3 month mark next week so not even expecting any new growth and just waiting till month 4-6 as to see some growth.

Temples and donor looking great already 😎. You are about a week ahead of me and clearly getting back to pre HT so now the fun starts. Good luck looking forward to seeing that growth month 4 - yiu stadting to feel new hairs sprouting through?

Thank you I will try my best to relax till at least month 3/4 so my hair is at least pre HT… I think @Sukh1234was referring to my first HT which I had in Turkey…

No, but I am on Finasteride and Minoxidil… @Eugenix Hair Sciencesis it worth me turning to these stronger medicines?

Thank you Sukh1234 for your reply, Yes @Eugenix Hair Sciencesdid a thorough observation of my donor and as a result chose for me to have the majority beard hairs this time - I did get back to having a good head of hair after my first transplant and hoping in 7-8 months I am back on track…!
