Hi fellow users, I have been on quite a journey with my hair and didnt expect to be fighting hair loss after 12 years. I started losing hair at 22 and then at 27 completed a HT in Istanbul with longevita. It was successful (although I was harvested I had a full head if hair). 4-5 years later it became very thin and feels like I lost native hair - I am on fin. However I am back in the game and am close to completing my booking with Eugenix. I have limited donor area so I am expecting 2000 beard grafts and then whatever we can scrape from the donor. I am hoping thy can make my donor look less sparse somehow. I am hoping any of you can give any advice and tell me what to expect. Looking great and on track for 2.5 months. Are you able to use fibres at this stage? Reckon if you add some toppik into that you would like very similar to pre op already!

Hi, I have been away from here for a while and need to get my research done and ready for a 2nd HT. Few questions I would really appreciate help with: 1) Do i need temples filling? How many grafts generally does temple filling use up? 2) I am planning 1500-2000 beard grafts can I get that in one session? 3) I am certain I want 500 in hairline (not lowering), 1500 in mid scalp and 500 in crown. This seem ok? 4) Eugenix or any other upcoming clinics? Thanks in advance 😎

@Charls 37 I can 100% empathise with you, my case is exactly the same as yours please see my posts. Transplants are temporary and deteriorate after a few years, hence why the major bloggers here with good results have had multiple surgeries! 3-4 years and you need another session.

What can I expect from 2500 grafts with my current situation? Anybody had similar experience and had a 2nd fue? Use of beard grafts? Any examples will be much appreciated.

Buzz cut doesn’t suit me at all tbh, I’m hoping the 2500 grafts will get me back where I was one year post op. See the pic above.

Thanks for the smp suggestion, but thats out the question. Yes, the plan is to use the scalp hairs to fill the front and the beard hairs to fill the mid and crown.

Hi, Today I met with a surgeon (will share details soon) via zoom and he has advised i go for 2500 grafts - 1500 beard grafts and 1000 scalp grafts. The plan is to place 500 in the front, 500 in the crown and the remaining 1500 in the mid scalp area. My hair is better than what it was prior to my first transplant. What do you think?

I was about 28-29 and was thrilled with results. Yes I agree mid scalp native hair lost but crown has also thinned, and the hair line is so much thinner than it was 2-3 years post op

Hi all, So after 3 consultations I have been told to use up 1500 donor grafts from scalp. Eugenix advised this too, but I have stated my donor is over harvested yet they all saying the same thing to use 1500 grafts and then around 1000 beard grafts. I am refusing to touch my donor, or max 500 grafts and use around 1500 beard grafts. I am going to attach a few more pics from my first transplant so you can see my journey. any comments/advice is much appreciated, thanks.

Hi, Pick a reputable surgeon and go for a FUT first, you need to maximise your use of donor area. Your hair will definitely thin again and then go a fue. This is a journey you are on, it is not a one time fix! Stick to the meds, use up your grafts wisely and continue asking questions.

Eugenix is more affordable for me, difficult to get a f2f consultation though. Ideally I’m going to ask for beard grafts and chest grafts to fill the whole area from front to crown, mainly focusing on mid scalp. As you can see from my previous. Pics I have some hair in certain areas, but just thin.

Eugenix India, I believe they do good BHT and affordable. My chest hairs are as strong as my beard, if I can get 3000 grafts via these 2 I wont need to touch my donor. As of now my hair is still a lot better than pre op 2015.

Thanks guys, I have taken your comments on board, and will stick to just adding density to the mid scalp I think. I don’t want to touch the donor area but will 1000 grafts do so much more damage to an already over harvested area? I will maximise beard grafts defo first and possibly chest hairs. I really need 2000-3000 grafts for a decent result. I was happy with my results for the first 3 years

Any last minute advice? I have contacted a few surgeons regarding BHT to thicken up the whole scalp. Possibly use a 1000 donor area hair too. I want to bring hairline little lower and thicken up rest. Would you advise chest hairs too? I have thick BHT both beard and chest.

What about a HT with PRP?

I am back on fin and biotin, i stopped between 2018-20 as I was living abroad. I am thinking of doing PRP sessions to see if I can boost some of the native hair? I have 3 choices really: 1) shave the whole lot off 2) HT using 1500 beard hairs plus 1500 grafts - total 3000 grafts all over 3) PRP sessions every 3-6 months
