  1. I had a FUT with Dr. Rahal a year ago and I'll have another FUT procedure on Monday. I have only good things to say about Dr. Rahal and I recommend him without hesitation. I live in Ottawa, however. If you'd like to speak with me and see my results, please send me a message and I'll get in touch. Let me say that if you choose Dr. Rahal, you will make a wise decision.
  2. When you have his fame and money, looks don't matter. See Tiiger Woods.

  4. I'm sure it's the same thing with one's non-transplanted, regular hair.
  5. I have a quick question about combing your hair many months after HT. I recently pulled one hair out while combing my hair in the area where I had my HT. My hair gets sometimes tangled after I take a shower and becomes difficult to comb. My question is this: will that hair grow back? In other words, if you somehow lose the hair in the transplanted area becomes you wore a hat and hair got stuck, etc. is that hair lost forever or will they regrow?
  6. I find the pro-doctor bias of the administrators of this forum troubling. Is it a fear of potential litigation from those doctors who get bad reviews, like Dr Feller?
  7. The follow up care with Dr Rahal is world-class.
  8. I believe anti-acne antibiotics can make your hair fall out. So can many antidepressants.
  9. I'm curious how Dr. Rahal's FUE results compare with his FUT. Is he getting comparable results? Is there a greater loss of grafts using the FUE method? Percentages/loss? Risks? Should a client worry that he won't get as good a HT? We know that Dr. Rahal is very good using the FUT, but he doesn't have much of a track record using the FUE. We also know that he's new to it and that he previously abandoned FUE.
  10. TC17, you sound like a shill and not like an objective analyst. I didn't get personal with you at any point. I don't appreciate the patronizing tone either. Thanks.
  11. Nobody said that doctors shouldn't be "monetarily rewarded" for what they do. Obviously, the market decides and if some are willing to pay 15K to be a little less bald, great! My question is really about the fact that they don't really do the HTs themselves. I know an idividiual who had a HT and maybe saw his doctor for about an hour that day, tops. The actual transplant of grafts was accomplished by, in his words, "a fat Mexican woman". As far as he's concerned, she did his HT, and he's not very happy with his results. I did my research and "hair restoration" is a very sleazy business indeed.
  12. I want to quote a comment I recently saw: I find it interesting that surgeons have no qualms charging outrageous amounts of money (15K + for a megasession) for transplants they don't even really perform. Some would call it preying on the timid and insecure who often have to go in serious debt for a lifetime to get a HT that may or may not look good, but in any case can only give an illusion of a head of hair under good, soft lights. Comments?
