  1. Dr. Feller boasts that he has sued former patients. I'd like to know what that means. Did any of those cases go to trial? Did he settle out of court? Did he only send a libel notice to intimidate and shut his patients up? Maybe he can enlighten us further.
  2. Dr. Rahal has been doing this since '95, hardly "up and coming" . [what's with the LOLs in every post, how old are you?]
  3. Anyone here can come up with his list of ten great surgeons. Dr. Rahal obviously has a diffrent approach. My advice is indeed to give Feller a pass.
  4. HT must be viewed holistically and not only in terms of results. It's when results are less than optimal (at least according to the patient) that one should carefully study how the surgeon handles the situation. I give Dr. Feller a failing grade in that department. Anyway, based on what I've seem, I'd choose somebody else.
  5. I had 2 strip surgeries with Dr. Rahal and his post-op care was fantastic. Right now he's as good as Feller in terms of FUE and his strip work might be better.
  6. Dr. Feller has in the past claimed that he has no time and is just too busy to stay in protracted contact with disatisfied patients. I notice, however, that he finds the time to spend hours online chatting up a storm and writing mini essays to justify himself and attack unhappy patients. I never said that Dr. Feller is incompetent (he is competent) but why go to a surgeon with his character traits and post-op care when there are 10 surgeons in North America who are at least equally skilled but without his psychological baggage and better post-op care?
  7. I would advise all those who think of having a HT to stay clear of Dr. Feller. His behavior in this and other threads is an abomination and shames the medical profession. It boggles the mind why this little bully is recommended by this Web site.
  8. A very wise decision. You've done your homework.
  9. I noticed that they have branches all over North America. Dr. Michel Prevost does HTs in Ottawa, Canada. Has anybody ever heard of him?
  10. If I were you I'd just shave my hair. What do you tell a girl when you get intimate? As well, there's the potential of losing your piece through some accident. Can you do sports with the piece on?
  11. I find it hard to believe that you have 6000 grafts. That's how much I have and I was never in your category.
  12. You're far more advanced than I was. Still, 6000 grafts would kill the bald look. Talk to Dr.Rahal.
  13. I'm a NW6 and Dr. Rahal did a fantastic job with around 5200 grafts. I would need 2000 grafts to completely cover the crown. But believe me, the crown doesn't really impact your look. Even now, my front and mid section are covered and that has completely killed the bold appearance. I don't understand Dr. Bernstein's comments; it would be nice to see your photos.
  14. It depends on your goals. I'm a NW6 and had over 5000 grafts. That amount was sufficient to kill the bald look. In know that my crown area is still exposed but my overall appearance has improved pretty dramatically. I still hope to get at least 1000 grafts via FUE. At any rate, when you're a NW6 anything is a huge improvement. Unless people look at me from behind, they can hardly tell I'm balding.
  15. It sounds like that system isn't cheaper than a HT. It's hard to have an active lifestyle and put a rug on your head.
  16. Simmons and Rosenberg must lower their prices, it's the only way they can compete with Rahal. I don't know much about Rosenberg, but Simmons seems very good.
  17. Dr.Rahal. I think he's got more experience and more documented results.
  18. In this business the adage "you get what you pay for" is totally inapplicable. There are many lousy clinics who gouge and 1st rate surgeons who offer excellent prices.
  19. Dr. Rahal was my choice and I'm happy.
  20. Both will do a great job but Dr. Rahal has more experience. No offence to Dr. Simmons, but I went with Dr. Rahal.
  21. Dr. Hasson is one of the top doctors in the industry and is my second choice after Dr. Rahal. I'm confident that if Dr. Hasson can't produce a good result, the problem inevitably resides with the patient. I'm very grateful that Dr. Rahal produced the result that I have. I was a NW6 and got two procedures for slightly over 5000 grafts. The change in my appearance is pretty dramatic (I simply look ten years younger), even with my very fine hair and low elasticity. The only thing I can say is that by picking somebody of Dr. Rahal's, Dr. Feller's, Dr. Hasson's calibre, one increases the odds of success.
  22. I'm unhappy with the locking of negative threads (for example, the Feller thread) and deletion of posts (I didn't read the ones that were deleted in this thread). I think it takes away from the credibility of this forum when it happens. I don't see why any thread has to be locked. Let people speak as long as they want to. It raises questions in my mind as to the independence of this forum.
  23. If you've come to that conclusion it means that you've done your homework.
  24. Why isn't the lighting the same in all 3 pictures? I'm a bit tired of this common presentation method.
  25. I would be confident with both surgeons. You have chosen wisely.
