Damn, I cut a months worth already lol. Well live and learn I guess

So I just bought 30 pills of 5mg generic finasteride for $5. I am cutting them into 1/4's. This is actually harder then it sounds. The pill is the same size as a regular Propecia. After cutting the pill, does this have any effect on the potency, even though theoretically it should still be 1.25 mg ? Also do you cut your whole supply or as you go ? Just curious

Is there a tool to cut the proscar to get it even? Also you would need a prescription for proscar right?

So there is no difference in results from a generic finasteride that is cut into quarters, than from the real expensive propecia?

I'm going for my 8 month check up next week, so I'll talk to my doc about it

Would there be any drop off or difference by using proscar? propecia works, I don't want to screw that up but 101 for a month is ridiculous

Why is propecia getting more and more expensive? I just paid $101 for a month today. It has constantly gone up since I been on it. Anyway else feel the same way?

If you are looking for a third doc and need reconstruction work, you should really talk with Dr. Vogel from Baltimore. He has a lot of patients that have had bad HT's. -
Quick update: Went to my barber shop last week, and one of the barbers hasnt been there in a while was there. He asked if I had a balding brother, I was like no, what are you talking about? He was like there was someone who looks like you with much less hair ... I then had to go into "remember I told you I was getting a transplant ...." It sort of made my day

Dr. Vogel does amazing work ! He's the best in my opinion and I'm sure for all of his patients too ! The proof is in the hair ! -
Thanks, I will eventually go for another one too !!! Dr. Vogel kept telling me I will love the results, and he sure was right. If you live in the MD area and considering a HT, you have to speak with to this man and if you're on the fence I'm proof he comes through for his patients !!, he told me the next 2 months will only be better ! Thank you Dr.Vogel !!! You will definitely have a returning customer !!!!

Patience is a virtue that I definitely do not have. I had my procedure in the beginning of July,, then it turns into a waiting process, it was more agonizing then anything else, and you think why did I spend this money, and you look everyday wanting to see "the difference" ..... and you wait some more, and still don't ! It's crazy ! Then you start looking at pics, then other people start noticing something different, then you're like THIS IS AWESOME ! I couldve swore for the first 4 months nothing would ever happen, I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. I don't want to over hype it, but I have what looks to be a full head of hair. I created a photo album under 1720 w/ Dr. Vogel. There are three pics 1 - the day of surgery, the 2nd is from the mid of september, and the 3rd is from today ! Hair Restoration Social Network - Hair Loss and Transplant Photos The results speak for themself ! It's AMAZING, and it's been 6 months !! Worth every penny, I WILL GET ANOTHER ONE in the future !!

Can shampoo impact the transplant? I was told it doesn't matter but I'm 4months out without any growth so who knows .... -
