  1. Hey folks, my month 11 pics have been updated to my blog. It looks to me that my right side continued to fill up over the last month, hopefully the left side follows suit.
  2. thanks for the input guys. I used to have my hair cut with a #4, but I went down to a #2 or raised #2 at the start of my journey. In attempts to keep my updates consistent, I've kept my hair length the same. I will say that I like started to prefer the shorter hair, as I feel more aerodynamic, but I do agree it exposes my secret. I'm planning to change things up after a year. To you folks that have gone through with HTs, did you see a noticeable improvement from month 9 onward? I understand each case is different, but we're always hoping for more.
  3. Hey folks, My month 10 pics have been updated to my blog. Looks to be a minimal, if any, improvement to density from month 9.
  4. Thanks for the compliments guys. @ hair1978 - yup, I remember the going through that roller coaster of emotions during that period. The bright side is - the tough part is almost over. For me, I was able to ditch the baseball cap at month 3...and judging from your updates - you're on the same path! @ chrisdav - you can find by blog by clicking on the "My Hair Gain Website" link below. I've documented what I would consider milestones in my progress, the first two entries have pre-op pics.
  5. Hey Folks, Just updated my blog with my Month 9 pics. At this point, I'm just hoping for more density.
  6. Hey Folks, It's time for another episode of "How's my hair growth?" Growth has slowed down recently which was expected, but I still do see a minor improvement. I hope my implanted areas become more dense in the coming months before I reach my final results.
  7. Work's been hectic before the holidays so I'm a little behind on my monthly update. Here is the 7.5 month update. I've noticed that my implant has gotten more dense, resulting in a natural blend with the native hair. I welcome any comments. For this Christmas edition update, I thought I'd attach my monthly update milestones so it can be viewed as a slideshow of sorts. You can always check my blog for more pictures. Happy Holidays~!!
  8. Thanks for the compliments guys. I originally picked the image for my avatar as a joke, but when I take my pictures for my posts/updates, I can't help but think to myself ch-ch-ch-chia! Absolutely thrilled with my results so far. @hair1978 - Yup, it was an FUE procedure, 8+ hours. Dr. Diep and his staff were awesome, my experience was quite enjoyable...weird, I know. There are 3 videos of me on youtube: 1. the morning of / plan of attack 2. the extraction of the first couple of grafts 3. 7 day post - healing of donor area There's a consent form you can sign the day of surgery as to if/how your procedure is documented.
  9. Thanks Coach. I'm sorry to hear that you have yet to have any noticeable growth, I'm sure it will be coming soon - everyone's growth rate varies. I've looked through your posts and I've noticed that you haven't posted any pictures nor started a blog (or I may have missed them). I would encourage you to share pics your results so the community so patients with similar cases can chime in.
  10. Hey Folks, It's that time again, my 6 month results have been upped to my blog. I welcome any comments.
  11. Hey Folks, I just updated my blog with my 5 month update. I am very pleased with how things look so far. I welcome your comments.
  12. Thanks for the kind words David and SKJ! SKJ - Congrats on the HT, this is an exciting time for you! I recall me being a nervous wreck for my first month, it felt like it took forever. After the initial month, for me, all the anxiety disappeared as I was now really able to resume my normal life, and now time flies. From what I've seen from Dr. Rosanelli's work, you should be getting awesome results! I would like to encourage you to create a blog and document your journey if you haven't already done so. -CanYouHairMeNow
  13. Hello all. Long time reader, first time poster here. First, I'd like to say thank you to everyone that participates on this forum - the information that passes through here has been and continues to be very valuable to me. I had my hair transplant procedure with Dr. John Diep on May 14th, 2011 for 1548 grafts and wanted to share my results at the 4 month mark. I am thrilled with the results thus far. The pics I have included will show what I started with and where I am now (hopefully they show up). If my schedule allows it, I look forward to being a very active member on these boards. I welcome you to check out my blog and welcome any comments you may have.
