  1. I am a chemist andcome across harsh, fuming chemicals.I am post-op 4 months 20 days.I see new hair coming out as sprouts from all the grsfts transplanted few months before.till now I kept myself away from chemicals/job but now when I see new precious hair I am supposed to work in contact with chemicals. so my question is obvious, does such a enviroment affetcs new growing hair as they are weak, transparent and not matured? also does lemon(used during hair wash) can damage these small new hair? Please reply. thank you in advance.
  2. Guys read best rated comments here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVngLWGMKcI
  3. hi I am from mumbai,I have heard about teeth treatments in childern using stem cells in india as written by a leading indian newspaper. If it would have bben possible in case of hair, there would have been lots of chaos. but I also remember 'Aaj Tak' shwoing that 'sample hair' are taken and then they are 'duplicated' I will start my research(?) on it,I doubt if it's true. by the way, thanks Tuja and tell me where did you get this info from? through mails? I am post-op 4 months and seeing new growth, quite optimistic about ti and not worried now,but if stem cell therapy is reality then I would love to have hair style like … Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh. thank you.
  4. thank you everyone guys, yes I am seeing those hair progressing well. i.e. they are gaining color now and few have got good length. Best part is that my dos sees possility of next procedure though he refuses to talk about it at this time. even if this small sprout grew with no more growth I thinkI would be happy,as I want 'not-bald' look. thank you again,Mr.Publisher.
  5. Like the title says,I am post-op 3 months 7 days.I see colorless hair all over the operated area.I am happy at the same time I am worried, too much worried. I met my doc yesterday.he said it is ok,but he did not seem to think that it is good. what concerns me is that 'will all those small, thin, colorless hairs turn into normal healthy hair?' 'Am I too slow in terms of growth?' I am seeing these hair since a month before and they are growing(?) very slowly. I am worried as I am not sure about future of these newly growing hair. I do have very few transplanted hair remaining which have not fallen yet. Thank you and someone please bother to answer these questions.
  6. I am talking bout newly growing hair which we call 'initial growth' i.e. littile thin hair growing from follicles after grafts shed. I am post-op 2 months 23 days and seeing early growth I am talking about those new hair. since it was my 3rd procedure my recepient area was littile bit scarred and so I was adviced to use ContraTubex on it. Now that I see small hair sprouting from most of the incisions should I stop using that cream for scarred tissue?
  7. (firstly to David, No I have not had BHT but I have hairy legs and hands though no enough chest hair.but the hair on leg and hand is like that of scalp, straight and matured.so I am planning to go for it in future. My doc has done one BHT recently and I am eager to see the results) _________________ I did not find much written about these 'sprouts' except their appearance,so answers to these Qs would really help many folks like me.I mean growing grafts, those small tiny hair we die to see. I am seeing these hair since last 10-15 days(post-op 2 months 22 days) 1) How strong are they towards rubbing etc. compared to normal healthy hair? 2)Are there any instance when these newly growing transplanted hair fell due to wrong handling or rubbing ointment on them which was meant for scarred tissue? In short,I want to know more about the strength of the root of newly growing transplanted hair because I am applying two gels namely ContraTubex and Revitress for scarred tissue and for soothing scalp respectively on recepient area twice a day and afraid of the effect of rubbing on these new hair. Thank you very much all the three publishers! There is hardly any forum as helpful as this is and we are glad to have awesome guys like you here! Thank you Pat,Bill and David.
  8. hello awesome guys! I am at post-op 2 months,to my surprise since yesterday I can see very fine,sprout-like hair(not visible easily) coming out of the scalp all over the recepient area.(I mean where grafts are placed). These hair split into 2-3 when I look at them very closely. They can not be normal hair.(or is it possilbe?) Is it possible to see such a growth after 2 months? My doc said yes some patents see such fine hair and they become visible after a month. I am quite excited to know whether it's true or not. Thank you very much guys, you have helped me a lot.I wish other websites were as useful as this one.
  9. Very few times, there is very lil pain at one or two roots, but it lasts only for few minutes.and does not occur again.but there are few sites at recipient area that do pain in the same fashion and reoccur.and most of the time I see transplanted hair falling when I experience such pain. @gillenator Thank you. Yes I do understand that.I called my Doc and asked about it,he said it's normal. And the pain never lasted for more than 1 or 2 days and did not reoccur again. So it's not an matter of concern now. But a guy here says 'it's graft rejection' is it true in any possible way? It makes me think about it a lot. @Dr. Glenn M. Charles Now there is no pain and nearly 90% of the transplanted hair have fallen out.And color of the skin is normal as well but when I rub Contratubex cream on it,it becomes slightly pinkish for sometime. Is the pain in the root of transplanted hair cause of 'rejection of grafts'? @Gin0rm0usF0rehead why do you think it's graft rejection when roots of transplanted hair pain? did somebody tell you? Please guys answer these questions like you always do,I have done everything from my side but I want to know what's happening exactly up there on my head. Thank you very much.
  10. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/138682-interesting-question-about-scar-tissue-recipient-area.html I want to ask the same question and that,if its possible to treat scarred recipient area after 2nd surgery to have good results after 3rd one? Please comment as this is very important for me,I am guy who has undergone 2 bad Hts before. Also I am using Contratubex(Extr. Cepae,Heparin Sodium & Allantoin Gel - as written on the tube) in the scarred recipient area,my doc says it will reduce scarred tissues and increase blood flow to scalp. Any help on this would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
  11. saying 'hair transplant will nev give them what they want' is against the fact. then my point is 'if I can't expect anyone to accept with my thining hair (or bladness) because if I was not bald I would have nev gone for less attractive woman if she does not have very good talent in her like a PhD degree' It sounds crazy but this is what I think. I myself find 'baldness' ugly when its on me. I DON'T WAIT FOR ANYONE TO ACCEPT ME,I WANT TO MAKE MYSELF ABLE TO TELL PEOPLE THAT 'BUGGER OFF IF YOU CARE SO MUCH ABOUT MY LOOK,I DON'T NEED YOU' I will transplant FIBRES and get rid off baldness if I had to,but I will nev let this nonsense thing trouble me.I show people what they deserve on the very moment they pass comments,if baldness is gonna make them talk against me,I will change it but I will nev give them a dman!! and I mean it. (In the memory of beuatiful person in me)
  12. Thank you very much Gillenator,(? sorry) I always expect answer from this community and I always get it and that too from people working in the field. Yes its 3 weeks after HT so I am not expecting growth. but concerned about FIBROSIS. Fibrosis can affect final results? my Doc said your skin is kinda tight and that dos not facilitate god supply of blood to scalp and that may lead to poor growth.Mintop helps in this regard? or anything else is required? My 2nd HT with 1200 grafts did not work well for me and that time I saw growth(if any) after 9-10 months,is it going to repeat again this time? That doc was not a good one,but does it cause poor growth.Acc. to me yes,but I don't have enough knowledge. Please put some light on this
