  1. Looks like very refined and clean work! What sort of density will this achieve- will he require a second pass?
  2. http://s1127.photobucket.com/albums/l628/destorius/?action=view&current=P1020814.mp4 This is my donor after 1000 FUE. Hair is cut to a Grade #2-3. Can't notice any scarring.
  3. Hey HairThere You are prob right, but everyone I know thinks how much better it looks short. Also it would be nice to know I can have my hair as I want it- the HT was all about choice for me- I was fed up having to keep it a certain way. How is yours coming along?
  4. Also, I am thinking that post 12 months I will go back to the Doctor (if he will have me back!) to have a small "tweaking" session to address the section outlined in red below. By doing this at 12 months it will also give me the chance to touch up any other bits and pieces - should only be 200-300 graphs (FUE). Dr Feller does a "postage" stamp session so I will probably try this... This should see me for for a few years (touch wood!) as Proscar, Rogaine and Nizoral is holding me steady.
  5. Hi All I met Spex in person yesterday as I was in his area seeing family. Just to confirm what I'm sure has been said many times before - he is a super guy. We had a chat about where I am vs. where I should be and he thinks I'm bang on schedule. He then took a load of pics (much better quality then the ones I have supplied previously!). Please see these below. The final pic shows the post-op vs. where I am now - I think Spex was maybe a little conservative with his estimate on my left side (right in the photo) - i think the doctor went slightly further back (in depth). Only someone with OCD could notice that eh?! What is clear is that the graphs have grown in and things look on schedule for 7 months. My right side is a bit further along then the left but when that thickens up (which i'm sure it will) I will certainly be one pleased chap James
  6. Fantastic video! nice to see how it is all done! The music on the other hand.... :-P
  7. Fantastic result Tubs! Dr Feller knocked this one out of the ground. Glad you are now moving on with life.
  8. Hey all, thanks again for all the constructive feedback. Just wanted to clarify, I wasn't trying to say that the HT was a failure at all! 6 months is far too early to judge and I have complete faith in where Dr Feller has transplanted- he is in my opinion one of, if not the best out there. Anyway I will update again in a fee months- enjoy your summers!
  9. Hey all thanks for continued feedback. I have to say I suddenly did get really worried after corvesster made his post- more loss and no hope of future growth is going to get anyone down! Like I said before ( and my girlfriend said after reassuring me for 2 hrs on the phone last night!) I'm gonna ride out this journey to the 12 month point and see where I stand. Again thank you all for your input.
  10. Thank you very much for your input - Spex & Ukresponder. Both of you offered very valid advice and you have put my mind at rest to an extent! I will try and stop analysing things until i hit 12 months and then I can take a checkpoint.
  11. Hey- thanks for the feedback. I thought 6-8 months was the big growth time in HT? Pretty sure I haven't lost any more hair since the Op, when the dr did more in the left side then right side (in the right side ever since the op there seemed like a bit of a gap between the transplant hair and where my thick native hair was, tho I thought this was because the area was shaved). Ive been on Fin for 6 years and have been on Minox once a day since the Op.
  12. Hi All Please see my update attached. I have kept the same lighting for the first 3 and then put some different lighting in on the last 2 (another room in my house) - im keeping everything crossed that it thickens up alot in the next 5.5 months......! Hair is slightly shorter in these pics then before (Grade #2 as opposed to #3) as I couldnt really grow it out as it is far too thin on the left side to style as of yet. Honest opinons requested!
  13. Did he? I never realised! I thought he just had great hair....! Yea the results at 6 months were terrible! I didn't think he looked any different really..
  14. I agree... Particulary concerned the Fu dissection was not done under microscopes!! Think I'll stick with Feller in the future thanks!
  15. Always think these type of posts are a bit pointless because they are so subjective and then it becomes a mud slinging episode and agenda based. Both are excellent- both will do excellent work. I went with Feller and am very happy thus far- I'm sure Rahal is also excellent but as I may not met him I cannot comment.
  16. 4 Month - pics without flash as they give a better idea of progress. Things are starting to happen on the right side - left still lagging behind. Very early days obviously and happy to date.
  17. Just to echo what all have said beforehand- first and foremost Spex gives back and offers sound advice to people who want help and advice. I know personally that his posts have helped me for the last 4 years. I have never seen him give a biased opinion or push anyone down the surgery route for his own benefit.
  18. 1010 graphs. Yes I know what u mean about not going to what looks like the existing hairline, but the doctor shaved that down- there is still hair there I believe.
  19. 1 MONTH & 2 MONTH are both WITH flash btw.
