  1. Is that possible? I get itchy scalp only at night time. This doesn't happen every night though but when it does itch, I wake up scratching my head mostly near the nape and at the back of the head. I check my scalp, my pillow case for any white flakes but there's none. What to do? Thanks!
  2. To be honest, I don't think there'd be any significant difference from the scented vs. unscented formula. Rogaine foam does make everyone (or at least MOST of its users) shed like crazy and most of the time end up with minimal to no results.
  3. Although shedding is common when using propecia, many still worry about it. Unless it worsens or you're experiencing shedding for a year or two then it's still "normal".
  4. I wash my hair every day because I get really oily hair if I don't so I guess it depends on your hair's texture and if you sweat or stay out of the house most of the day, it's better to keep your scalp and hair free of dirt and grease and especially if you use hair gel or wax. As for hair products causing your hair thinning, I don't think so. It may or may not worsen your hair loss but not really cause it especially if you really have family history of mbp/aga.
  5. Hi jpmonster, are you using laser with other hair loss products? Say, fin or minox? I haven't read much about laser users who were happy with it, most of them are frustrated about the product so it's nice that there's someone here on the forum who can share with some positive results based on experience.
  6. Consult with a dermatologist (or hair doctor) if Nizoral causes itchiness on your scalp everytime you use it or it might be something else.
  7. It's good to know dyeing the hair won't have any effects with Minox foam. I used to have my hair colored (I experience premature graying) and did experience some dryness so conditioner was a "must-have" but stopped when I used Rogaine a few months back. So I guess I can go back to dyeing.
  8. LOL that's crazy although I did encounter some masturbation linking to hair loss in my search for causes of hair loss but only a few with really scientific backups. Personally, I don't believe it.
