You look awesome with the new hair I am trying to arrange a whatsapp video call but his assistant said that he is not available for video calls and she is the only point of contact for any questions. Were you told the same thing? Thanks
Thank you man! I did not do a video call either, it was all through photos and his assistant who went to the Dr. To ask questions etc.

Hey mate. Your Hair looks incredible , however, I met a guy in Ireland who had his HT done with Dr Cinik and he does not recommend them at any cost. He is not on the forum but I have advised him to post his experience here. Think you got lucky but he has completely opposite experience. I have read the negative reviews in other forums and he told me exact same. I hate to badmouth but it comes to show that either you can get lucky or unlucky with the same clinic.
Sorry to hear they had a bad experience, are they able to post their experience so that we all are able to see? Have they been in touch with the Dr to fix it? What was their situation in terms of amount of grafts, expectation, and recovery process? It's hard to evaluate without anything to show.

Good idea to not panic, nothing good comes from it lol, especially as you're only Month 5 it may sort it self out by the 12-15 month mark.
I think it's a combo of both but mainly the channeling...I would think, actually now I'm not sure lol.

Hi Luke, got something to ask you. I'm at the 5 month mark post HT and everything seems to be going well, but there's one thing that worries me a bit: there's a small area where the hair seems to be growing in another direction, like if it was put backwards. Is this a thing or am I being paranoid? Did something like that happened to you?
Hey!
This sounds like it could be the channel was angled differently, do you have a photo to help show? I didn't experience that so I don't have too much knowledge on that subject.
-
I'm not sure as to why Dr. Cinik was so deeply involved in mine in comparison to others. But if there is an option to have him do it I would highly recommend doing that.
Thanks for checking out my results, your in a simmilar position (although you had more hair in the frontal third) that I was in. Aim for the higher amount if possible as it will keep with the consistency of your thick hair.

Thanks Legend, I've considered going straighter with the temporal points, and maybe in the future I will. I want to wait a few years and assess any potential further hairloss and see.

Looking right on track mate! You should notice over the next few weeks a considerable amount of thickening!

Hi @alex79,
That's what I was thinking but it was addressed in the forum earlier, so was a little confused as there was no follow up from it. This was taken around the 7 1/2 month mark, as far as I can tell this filled in, but my hair is much longer than then lol.
-
Hi @sharmaarya did you have a question? Looks like you requoted another user but I don't see anything else. If I can help please let me know

Typically the crown takes a little longer to grow and really full out. I'd wait till the 15 month Mark and evaluate then. Looking great though!

Hey Luke, as always, you look fantastic!
One question, when did you stopped taking Saw Palmetto and why? Do you take anything at the moment?
Hey clerk, I stopped taking it because I'm the worst when it comes to taking pills and forget to at times! At the moment nothing, I should jump back on a, multivitamin though lol!
2 hours ago, alex79 said:Would taking Saw Palmetto a year after HT still have some positive affect?
Hi Alex,
I'm sure it would help a little!

Hi Lukeyb,
Your Progress story helped me a lot, really appreciate you doing this.
Your results turned out great as well. Congrats.
I have 2 questions,
1- When did you start using coconut oil post HT?
2- What is the Saw Palmetto Dosage you used per day & which brand?
Appreciate you response, Thanks in advance.
Hi @spikestar,
Thanks for followingI used coconut oil around the 10th day I believe (it's kinda hard to remember exactly when)
I used Gaia Saw Palmetto and took their recommended daily amount- 1 capsules 2x a day between meals.

@lukeyb1687 do you have a graft breakdown or how many grafts per cm2? not sure if you covered that already
Hi @Brickellmoto, sadly no. Dr. Cinik's clinic didn't offer that at the time I went, they may offer it now (not sure) but a buddy of mine is going at the end of this month, so I can ask him then.

right there with you brother, i'm an actor as well. how has life changed for you? i can only imagine you exuding nothing BUT confidence in auditions and everything. how did you go about normal life post-op?
Awesome man! Yeah it certainly helps a ton with the confidence and post op was fine (just kept it covered when out and about) and told my agents and manager that I needed yime to recover...didnt stop me going to a few auditions with a scabby head haha.

This is without doubt one of the best results that I can remember seeing. You hair looks awesome and I am elated for you. Thank you on behalf of guys like myself for documenting your progress on the forum. I have read from beginning to the end of this thread, but don't remember reading this - what was your process/decision making to undergo your session with Dr Cinik? I remember reading that you saw results from other Cinik patients on other forums, so you felt completely confident with your decision pre surgery? Were you considering with other Drs? Did you consult with other Drs?
Very interested!
Again, congratulations! Enjoy that new hairline!
Thanks man! I'm super ecstatic about my result and humbled that you read through the whole thread! Thank you!
I chose Dr. Cinik because of the results and consulation, not to mention the price. I consulted over the years with several recommended doctors on the forum but the results really spoke to me.

Insane results mate, you are a lucky fellow.
do you know the diameter (hair thickness) of your hair?
I don't unfortunately... I wonder if there's a way I can find out from home

Hi Luke, I'm at the 2 month mark of the HT surgery and starting to have sides from the Fin and considering stopping it. It's my understanding that you've never took Fin, right? Did you take any kind of alternative treatment?
Hi Clerksband,
I took it years ago and it caused me to break out in cystic acne so I stopped. Instead I took Saw Palmetto, it's the natural based version of Fin.

Haha thanks Sean...don't tell the world my secret I'd happily portray him though!
12 minutes ago, grantleebuffalo said:Are you able to style your hair in the other direction now without issues? I recall that you wrote something about that a while ago and i am experiencing the same issue with "stubborn" hair and a lower density look.
Hi Grant, I am able to now. I'll style it the other way tonight and upload a photo, it was probably due to the hair still becoming stronger and mature.

Oh no I had a ton more sprout through! I would say only about 40% is through at 5 months. Keep eating healthy and promote healing in your body!

Thank you @BjornBorg for the kind words. I agree with you too, it's like the lottery and so far I hit the jackpot. I'd probably only revisit the hairline if I needed another transplant if further hairloss occurs, otherwise I'm light years away from where I was and over the moon with how everything turned out!
