Senior Member TC17 Posted December 31, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 31, 2009 I don't see how we are to fairly judge this result when the top down photo before surgery has wet hair combed back, and the top down post surgery is significantly smaller and with dry hair. Senior Member hair_me_out Posted December 31, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 31, 2009 I agree. It's very hard to perceive much of anything based on how different the hair is styled. Bill - Seemiller
Dr. Rose, It looks like a subtle but nice improvement for only 1677 grafts. I do agree however, that if possible, it's optimal to take before and after photos that are similar in characteristic, condition, and style. Wet hair makes hair look naturally thinner. While I know you're a stand up physician and it's not your intent to be deceptive, showing wet before and dry after photos aren't the most realistic comparision. If you have any before photos of the patient with dry hair, I encourage you to post them. If not, I encourage you to take before and after photos under similar condiitions on future patients. Best wishes and Happy New Year! Bill
