Regular Member Am0986 Posted December 7, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted December 7, 2009 My scar is still about 1 cm on one side and it looks bad. No hair growing out of it and i cant cut my hair short. What should I do? And iam sure most of you say wait but I dont see a miracle happening anytime soon in the scar area. It is month 4 and it looks the same as month 2. Check out My Hair Loss Web Blog

Senior Member aaron1234 Posted December 7, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted December 7, 2009 All scars seem to stretch somewhat. But if it seems to much you should talk to your surgeon. Meanwhile, dab some dermmatch on it. Regular Member Turbo Posted December 7, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted December 7, 2009 Hi there. All I can say is that the scar tissue should stabilise a bit at month 5 (Im at month 5.5) and once the redness goes the surrounding hairs do seem to relax a bit to make covering up 'slightly' easier. If you do decide to do anything in the future my advice would be to FUE the area rather than risk futher stretching..
