I am glad this topic came up. I am going through the same thing with my relationship. Except my gf is a hair stylist so she wants to cut my hair. I have so much anxiety so I think I am just going to tell her.

Bill. I would rather discuss the case with Dr. Meshkin. I just posted my results and was a little emotional about the scar. If you can end this thread I would appreciate it. I am sure Dr. Meshkin is a good doctor and we can work things out. I dont want to say anything else.

thanks for the words of encouragement. The girl just turned 21 and is a hair stylist.. So that could be the main problem lol! Out of all the girls, I pick the one with a fascination of hair. Fml.

Why is it that everytime I get close to a girl the only thing she can focus on is my lack of hair. I mean seriously I am in great shape, have my degree , and treat women with respect and love. Yet, I have one fault and its always such a big deal. I am really starting to hate society and the negative sterotype of thinning hair. AHhhh help so frustrated. Anyone else feel my pain. I mean as guys do we complain about their imperfections. NO! I would never tell a girl her boobs needed to be bigger or her teeth needed to be straighter because I would be a jerk. Comments? Is it just because I am 23?

My scar is still about 1 cm on one side and it looks bad. No hair growing out of it and i cant cut my hair short. What should I do? And iam sure most of you say wait but I dont see a miracle happening anytime soon in the scar area. It is month 4 and it looks the same as month 2.

no you cant swim with toppik or anything else with water, it will wash out.

Looking good. I cant wait to see your progress, as we are almost around the same timeline. The first 3 months are the worst. Iam gald you feel some stuble, thats a great sign.. I just hope when all this is said and done we will be a couple of amazing results for this site. Goodluck bro.

I am fairly sure that it has stretched. That's why I am worried. The weird part is the rest of the scar is almost hair line thin. Just another thing to be annoyed by, like if losing your hair at 17 wasn't crappy enough.

So about 2months ago I had a ht and am really worried because one side of my scar is really bad and no hair is growing out of it. My hair is longer and still doesn't really cover it. Take a look and please tell me what you think.

Nanogen is a basic cover up for thining hair. Its basically a shaker that you put over bald spots and colored fibers come out . There are different types that do the samething nanogen/toppik/dermatch. Just google it and you will get the picture. Propecia is a brand name for 1mg fin. And proscar is 5mg fin. Same thing different amount per dose.

I only wish I could complain about having hair like this........ I am calling this one hair greed. sry I think it looks great.

hey brother i feel for you man.. I am going, and have been thru this personal hell. What sucks the most is that people that arent going thru it think we are making a big deal about nothing. Hairloss is seriously tramatic in every sense of the word especially at a younger age. But there is hope! I recently have begun to reclaim my youth. 17-22. 2010 will be my big year. There is help out there you just might have to wait.. and thats the hardest part.. trust me I know. Take care

hey yomommyz I can imagine you feel like you are going thru hell right now. Honestly I didnt think I had enough money for a transplant but there are ways to make it happen. Set aside a budget on whatever you make, just like a car payment. I got 18 months no interest and pay around 200 a month. I only work part time and am able to afford this. You can make it happen if you really want it! What level is your hair loss? and how old are you?

Welcome to the board! Let me be the first to say that there is a bias for a reason. I had my first ht done by the main guy in hairclub, Dr. Gaffney and my results sucked! Take a look at my blog and you can see the first results. Not to mention all the non-surgical crap they try to sell you. So my bias is based on their lies, bad ethical statements and results. quoting Gaffney.. "oh ya 1,500 should give you your hair back in those areas" ya right thanks.

true true but when I was bald I almost never went outside during the day.. I am also from so cal.
