Senior Member FinallyHT Posted April 30 Senior Member Posted April 30 (edited) I am sharing a personal review of Xyon's new Hair and Scalp Serum. For full disclosure, I asked Xyon to let me review the product in exchange for a free sample. I don't expect much from the use of the product, but it might help when used with proven medications. The product comes in a nice box. The actual product is small 30 ml bottle - it is an odorless blue liquid that you are supposed to use once a day. The serum includes saw palmetto extract, Capixyl- peptide complex, and caffeine. What's interesting is that Capixyl is a biomimetic signal peptide complex that has red clover extract. Red clover is known as a trifolium pratense which promotes hair growth. It is used in eye lash serums as a natural alternative to Latanoprost and supposed to be just as effective. Between Capixyl and caffeine two main ingredients of the serum, I thought it would be an interesting product to apply to make myself feel better about attacking hair loss through the use of other non-medication options. It's easy to apply and dries quickly. Edited April 30 by FinallyHT 2 Age: 40 Hairloss began at age 23. Oral Finasteride 1mg daily since 2006, Topical Minoxidil since 2012. Dr Blake Bloxham Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Have you tried Xyon's prescription topicals? Like the topical dutasteride, for example? I think they do a very good job and the "Siloxys" gel is clever. Dr. Blake Bloxham is recommended by the Hair Transplant Network. Senior Member FinallyHT Posted November 26 Author Senior Member Posted November 26 The topical Dut didnt work for me. It may have been because I had too much hair to start with. I also felt that the medication made me bloat. I used it everyday for six months while taking oral fin which I had been on for 17 years. I went back to oral fin and dropped topical Dut.
