4000 grafts FUE with Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA

Recommended Posts

I live in San Diego, CA and have been considering a hair procedure for some time, but was very concerned about whether to go with FUT or FUE. I did a lot of research online and decided to also search for respected and reputable doctors in the field. Naturally I searched around San Diego first, but I thought, if I am going to do something like this (the cost, the investment, etc.), I should do it with the best.

Not satisfied with any of the doctors I was looking at, I decided to search in the Los Angeles area. I came across Dr. Mohebi and was immediately intrigued. I went through his whole website, looked at many reviews and ultimately, felt comfortable with my consideration. Dr. Mohebi has a very strong background and knowledge of the field, which also reassured me in my decision.

I then scheduled a consultation so that I could meet with Dr. Mohebi one-on-one, to really get a better grasp of what my options were and what would work best. I initially opted for the FUT due to the cost savings, but after having thought it through some more, I changed my mind and decided on the FUE procedure. Dr. Mohebi never once tried to push one method over the other, but provided his honest opinions.

I did just shy of 4000 grafts, which were spaced out over two consecutive days. I can't say that I was hesitant or nervous, because after reading a lot about it online, I knew what to expect. Turns out, my experience was MUCH better than what I expected! Dr. Mohebi and his staff were extremely easy to talk to and work with...but that's not all. Dr. Mohebi is a perfectionist in every aspect of his trade. Who better to have perform your procedure than someone who sets a high standard to begin with!?

Everything was great, from the meals I was provided (which was all amazing and served to me as if I was a King at a fancy restaurant!), to the level of comfort I felt. This may sound a bit weird, but I was actually looking forward to coming in on the second day!

The procedure was easy, painless and exciting. I would recommend Dr. Mohebi to anyone interested in considering something like this, as his knowledge, skill, honesty and enthusiasm for his work and his patients is hard to find.

P.S. Many celebrities have had their hair done by Dr. Mohebi...do you think they would settle for anything less than the best?

Can you share more feedback? I am looking for a 4000 graft FUT with Dr Mohebi- do you recommend I use them? Are they better than Bosley?

I’ve seen Dr. Mohebi perform surgery and seen his patients in person. He’s definitely a good surgeon, he’s A LOT better than Bosley.

Thanks for adding photos, were grafts placed throughout the entire scalp?

Grafts were placed along the front to create a mature hairline and on the crown.  Will probably be needing more on the top of the head between both of those parts.

This can’t be 4000 grafts or? 😒

About 2000 in the front and 2000 on the crown. I don’t have any photos of the crown unfortunately.
