Regular Member vanitysucks Posted September 10, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted September 10, 2009 I'm about to have my 4th. I don't want to spend 15 grande so I am dividing it up into two procedures. One big one and touch up later. How long can I keep doing this to my head!? Senior Member Sparky Posted September 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 10, 2009 guess it depends on the quality of the HT. My Hairloss Website http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2198
Senior Member thanatopsis_awry Posted September 10, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 10, 2009 I would likely suggest holding back on your 4th until you're more confident emotionally in the process, a bit more mentally abreast of what's involved, and, ideally, totally financially sound for moving forward. How many HTs you can "endure" is really somewhat subjective, and there are many variables, all of which should be taken into account and discussed with by your doctor. How many grafts are you going for? Who's your doc? What's your current hair situation? etcetc ----------- *A Follicles Dying Wish To Clinics* 1 top-down, 1 portrait, 1 side-shot, 1 hairline....4 photos. No flash. Follicles have asked for centuries, in ten languages, as many times so as to confuse a mathematician. Enough is enough! Give me documentation or give me death! Regular Member Coligion Posted September 10, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted September 10, 2009 How many hair transplants we have is determined by: amount of donor hair available, scalp laxity, and how well we can handle the mental and physical toll brought upon by each surgery. There are other factors invovled (like finances), but I believe these three are key.
