Regular Member Faisal Alsubaie Posted September 4, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted September 4, 2023 If you follow my previous thread. You would definitely understand my situation. Today I would like to share with you my journey on deciding to go for the best doctor in the field of correction surgery (post hair transplant) and he is Dr. Bisagna BHR clinic in Brussels Belgium 🇧🇪, since I suffered a-lot from the past surgery that was done in a worst hair transplant clinic in the Middle East (Padra Clinic) they also operate in Kuwait, Doha Qatar and Dubai UAE. You need to avoid them trust me. Look for good doctors here in this platform and read before you choose the wrong place. so back to Dr. Bisanga. I Went to see him this morning. Doctor was so welcoming asked me few questions to evaluate my case and then showed my the grafts that meant to be removed on his screen and did circle two parts of my donor where those graft are going to be placed there. We had a bit chat about things i wanted to know before we go in to the surgery. in the surgery room you basically listen to Good music while the team take cares of you. First they shave a bit from the parts that need placement of grafts. And obviously shave the hairline to extract the unwanted pluggy greafts from there. once that done the star punching your scalp with anaesthesia which is the only annoying part. and then Dr. Bisanga will punch one by one carefully from the unwanted area that whould take him probably 1-1hr straight to finish all. Then they flip you to the other side so they can place the graft back in you donor again. And that would take same time as the punching. So in total you spend 3-4 hours in the clinic. Before you can finish your nice meal they give you and you are off togo. follow me here i will update everynow and then. i will show you other photos once i remove the bandage on the hairline soon

Regular Member Faisal Alsubaie Posted September 4, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 4, 2023 @Nikoni it will leave scars but hopefully they not noticeable. If it appears to be big scars then i will go for laser surfacing of the skin but that would be in a later stage after I finish my correction journey. Regular Member Faisal Alsubaie Posted September 4, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 4, 2023 @baddecisions hi, in todays surgery Dr. Bisanga punched out from my hairline around 250/300 grafts and placed them back in my donor. Regular Member Faisal Alsubaie Posted September 5, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 5, 2023 One day post surgery. Swelling is nothing compared to that cheap clinic that done me so bad (the Padra clinic, the unprofessional, hair mill of the Middle East). No pain at all in both hairline (considered as donor) and recipient areas behind ears. I had to put healing cream 2 times a day on hearline scars. and also spray my recipient area to keep it wet every 2 hours with a spray that was given to me by BHR clinic. (Note the lines showing on my forehead right and left side in the first 3 pics is from covering my head tight with a bandana to avoid sunlight) nothing serious 😂 Keep following me here i will hopefully post every week for an update. if you have any questions drop me a message please.

Regular Member jjalay Posted September 6, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted September 6, 2023 Are you planing for a second surgery to improve the donor even more?
Regular Member Faisal Alsubaie Posted September 6, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 6, 2023 @jjalay yes i am planning for my second correction session to improve the donor even more by extracting more plugs from hairline. Not sure actually if I would have enough grafts to improve the overall donor but definitely the second correction session will cover more over harvested empty gaps, at least enhance the overall look of the donor especially when I cut my hair short. If i keep my donor hair like 2-3 cm long i have no visible gaps, i only like to cut my hair short from the sides and back. My main focus is the hairline looks. Once I’m done with that I’ll plan to look for options to improve overall donor. hope you find my reply useful. 2

Senior Member RTC Posted September 9, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted September 9, 2023 @Faisal Alsubaiemabrook bro. Must be such a good feeling to get rid of some of those ugly grafts. At what point were you able to sleep normally on your back? 1 Hattingen September 2023 - Punchouts
Regular Member Faisal Alsubaie Posted September 9, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 9, 2023 @RTC thanks bro! yes I’m feeling super after removing them. in terms of sleeping I found it difficult especially the first few nights, but I'm now used to it trying to squeeze my pillow to fit just between my neck and cheek so it can lift my head up while sleeping. Anyway I’m taking good care of those new implanted grafts.
Senior Member RTC Posted September 10, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted September 10, 2023 What cream are you using for recovery @Faisal Alsubaie Did Dr Bisanga suggest any silicone based scar gel? Hattingen September 2023 - Punchouts
Regular Member Faisal Alsubaie Posted September 10, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 10, 2023 @RTC see pic below, I’m using this cream twice a day on the scars. This was given to me by BHR clinic. It says in the papers to use it only for a week but I’ll keep applying it to the scars up to day 14. Anyways its 94% natural ingredients even if I used it more it won’t harm the skin.

Valued Contributor Berba11 Posted September 13, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted September 13, 2023 How many sessions will you be having with Dr Bisanga in total to correct the hairline?
Regular Member Faisal Alsubaie Posted September 13, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted September 13, 2023 @Berba11 as I discussed with Dr. Bisanga during consultation he recommended 3 sessions to correct the hairline. Probably the next session will be the same as the first (removal of wrong grafts and replacing them back in the donor), then the third will be building a proper hairline with proper singles. if you ask why it is taking more than one session to complete the repair, it is because that is Dr. Bisanga’s method of repair, basically allowing the skin to heal in a proper way rather than stressing it with too many punchings that will leave bigger scars and reduce the chance of future implanted hair to grow back in that area. That is for the hairline. For donor repair I might go for an additional single session on a later stage to repair as a whole. But I haven’t decided yet. Hope you find my words useful.

Makes perfect sense and I think that's a very sensible approach by Dr B. Often these kinds of repairs require multiple sittings.
