Dr. Vladimir Panine
This 27year-old had a hair loss pattern similar to a class 3v on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. After establishing his medical history and understanding the progression of his hair loss, I diagnosed his condition as Androgenetic Alopecia (male pattern baldness), ruling out any other possible dermatological or medical conditions which can cause hair loss. His goal was to create a hairline that would look good for him now and as his continues to age. Since the patient’s goal was well suited to his needs, I planned the surgery accordingly. Density was added to frontal 1/2 of his scalp, approximately 10cm back from his hairline. A total of 2,572 grafts were placed. There was a combination of 1, 2 and 3 hair grafts. All the single were placed into his hairline. These are his results on the day of the procedure and 1-year post-op. The patient is extremely happy with his results. 1 1 Dr. Vladimir Panine is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians.
