What do you think of this hairline shape?

If you've spent any time on men's hairstyles on YouTube, you may have come across these guys from Slikhaar TV (twin brothers).

I can't help but notice they have an unusual hairline shape. Certainly enviable, for most of us, but the overall shape is actually highest in the middle and forms a sort of concave shape, with the temples rounded. For most men the hairline has some temporal recession, or a convex shape, where the midfrontal point is the lowest on the forehead. Many believe the "ideal" Norwood 1 would have a straight hairline, without recession at the temples. But this is basically the opposite, where the sides actually have a little more hair than the middle. I think some would even describe this as feminine.

What do you think? Is it a nice design? Would you expect a surgeon to create this?

Only guys who never lost a hair in their lives get to have these types of hairlines/density.  They also keep a juvenile hairline.

I have thought about surgeons creating this hairline which is present in some males naturally but problem is

Majority of adult males have fronto-temporal angles, while doing transplant even if its a single point and it acts in support of something looking normal it will help because human eyes are so powerful they will sub-consciously look to distinguish abnormalities from normality, the reason why good surgeons always create  fronto-temporal angles as it will add up a point of many other points which are needed for natural normality..

Very good, definitely way better than a Norwood 2.

More convex hairline shape (somewhat lower at the center than at the corners) would be textbook perfect, but that is so close to perfect that I doubt anyone would complain about it.

That above would be perfect IMO but the difference is very small, I would have to hyperfocus to notice the difference. At first glance, any of those hairlines look like a "perfect, full head of hair" to me.

"Mature hairline" is euphemism for balding.

@Rafael Manelli,

These are definitely some unique looking natural hairlines. There would be nothing wrong with a surgeon and patient designing a hairline that looks like this if it’s optimal for the patient both in terms of placement and position. Of course, a patient would need to have an appropriate number of available grafts and a hair loss pattern to be able to create such a low, youthful looking hairline.  Not only that, density plays a role on how these individuals wear their hair so in order to pull off a look like this, there will likely have to be a good combination of densely packed transplanted hair and natural hair.

Keep in mind also that one hairline on an individual may not look as good on another. So the key is to find a hairline that best suits the patient and not necessarily duplicate a hairline that best fits another individual. Now… Perhaps this hairline will look good on you…that is something you can speak to the surgeon about and see how things go.

Best wishes,

Rahal Hair Transplant

Yes, I would much prefer this to the female one. Well, it's on a guy so juvenile one we might call it. But I guess tastes differ, and that is fine.

Something like this is more typical for nw1 men. Not receded, but still angular and "sharp", and the midpoint is a tad lower than the sides. Although I've a suspicion this guy has had his barber trim it a little.

this is a little feminine hairline in my opinion. This guy has great jawline but then you look at his hairline and its not adding anything to his looks. Its not giving him that sharp look which lower part of his face is giving him. But he has tried to use his hairstyle to compensate for that nicely in 2nd pic.

Well one looks like a fashion shoot, and the other, just every day life! Great barnet though!

haha that true, 2nd pic hairstyle is not for everyday life. That is some nice hair genes he has got. He will never have to worry about taking any meds or remember names of surgeons or style hair a certain way everyday. he can just wake up and hair will already be looking amazing .

He’s probably a bit younger than he looks too… I’ve noticed a trend of younger grey haired men! Must make older grey haired men feel bloody awful!

I think the brother on the left has a better hairline. But let’s be real, id be happy with either of these hairlines.

This might be the only place where people are able to tell apart identical twins by their hairlines.
