My name is David and this is my first post here after visiting the site quite often over the last few years so just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and also seek a bit of advice. I will attach a few photos of my case just in case it is relevant:- I am very close to booking a HT with Eugenix in India and just wondered what people thought of the package options they send me. I have been ensured by Eugenix that the quality will be the same regardless of wether i opt for #2 or #3 with Das. Is it a bad idea to go for package #2 if i don't know who carries out the procedure or am i in safe hands lol? I think Eugenix have a proven track record of great work especially on some well-known guys here like Melvin and Karl who have achieved amazing results. If anyone on here has any advice i'd be very grateful if you would kindly share it with me. Finally, i would just like to wish everyone on here all the success you deserve on your journey. Personally, I feel that going with dr Das makes more sense, recently they've posted similar result of a patient called Alex on the forums and it was done by dr Das. Cheers, keep us updated! Thanks Adam. I was quoted roughly 2700 grafts but this is subject to change when i see them face to face. I really want good density in the crown and vertex due to my headshape so i'm willing to go maybe around 3000-3200 grafts. Hopefully you are right about having good quality hair as i'd like to think i have more donor after this if i need it for another procedure in later years. Strangely enough i have never been bothered about receeding around the front corners as i just want a complete patch without a big hole in the middle lol. I was on fin for years but stopped 3 years ago and i think my hair has mostly been the same but maybe slightly more thinning in the vertex area. I think i will start taking it again although i sometimes worry a bit about side effects. I will keep an eye on Alex's. Thanks for the reply mate. I have spoken to the team and was impressed with all the detail they went into so i think the good vibes i got where just what i needed to go ahead with the decision. I hope i have made a good one. If you were able to tolerate Finasteride before then I strongly recommend that you continue now with the medication again and stay on it. Happy for you man 😁 @Davahkiin89 go with the amount of grafts that will give the best, most natural result. In my case, personally with the number of grafts I have had now (including the punch grafts that were surgically thrown away) 2,700 grafts is like having a ten minute hair cut. 😉 Whether it ends up requiring 2,500 or 3,000 is doesn't matter. Think of the end result and work backwards. Remember you are not buying a disposable car. These results are what you have to look at in the mirror everyday for the rest of your life. If it's a case about money then I would lock in the surgery and save up until you can afford this. Mine is on the 6th of June and 7th if there is need for an extra day. I'm booked to fly home on the 8th. I feel slightly nervous but more optimistic and excited.
