kordi
Hi everyone and thanks for this wonderful website. It helped me alot for choosing the right clinic for my next FUE. special thanks to @Melvin- Moderator, @general-etwan & @Gatsby for posting their journey and answering questions. ** brief background & choosing the clinic I have been loosing hair since I was 19 years old. I had my first FUE transplant in Turkey back on 2018 when I was 23 years old. I had around 2000 graft implanted in the front part & to restore the hairline. (Unfortunately I lost my old phone and I do not have any pictures before doing the first surgery). The overall outcome from my first surgery was not satisfactory. After almost a year of following up and reading about different surgeons, I finally decided to go with @Eugenix Hair Sciences. I was impressed by their work and the fact that they are masters in taking beard hair and implanting it in the scalp in a very natural way. ** Medications: finasteride 1mg for almost a year now (was afraid to start it before or even after my first surgery due to side effects I read. Decided to start it later because I was loosing more & more hairs. Luckily I had no side effects at all). Minoxidil 5% for 2 months ( had side effects from it but considering the foam type after my surgery and of course after discussing that with Dr. Arika) Hair Multivitamins for 1.5 years ** Consultation with Eugenix I sent my hair photos on Whatsapp they evaluated the case in 1 day duration. They suggested to go for around 4500-5000 grafts. around 2700 graft from scalp donor area & 2000 from my beard. (I do not have a full or a very thick dense beard so I am not sure if 2000 grafts can be taken out from there). They scheduled me the next day to have a video call with the medical counsellor Rolston Paul. the next day on the video call, he listened to my concerns, asked me what is my expectation from the surgery, told me briefly what to do pre & post op, told me about their different packages and some other instructions. I chose the exclusive package and made a special request for the planing and designing of my hair to be done by Dr. Arika because I might lower my hairline by 0.5-1 cm and I wanted her expert opinion. (the price is a bit higher than the exclusive one). I chose the date 6th & 7th of feb-2023 ( luckily there was a slot nearby!). I made a deposit of 20K rupee to book those days. After confirming and paying the deposit, I was contacted by Satyam to do some mandatory blood workup in where I live before the date of my surgery. I will keep posting here for my journey with them. Senior Member Dillpickle123 Posted January 22, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted January 22, 2023 Good luck! You should use minoxidil on your beard to grow more terminal hairs there and effectively “farm” it out although one month isn’t enough you will probably need another procedure

Valued Contributor A_4_Archan Posted February 9, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted February 9, 2023 5000 grafts might be tough to harvest seeing ur scalp donor and beard....seeing ur beard i feel u wont be able to take out so many grafts unless u dnt mind taking out most of the grafts frm thr and keep a clean shaved look... Bt eugnix is good in handling high norwood cases and evn harvesting so many beard grafts so i wish they could do tht in ur case ... Wish u all the best for your surgery and buy a stock of medicine as u will find it cheapest in india...keep updating ..😊 1 Check Out My Hair Transplant Journey --> My Thread 3611 FUE Grafts With Dr Kongkiat Laorwong | Norwood 5 | 2nd May 2023

I keep my beard clean shaved so I do not mind taking more grafts out there to fill/increase the density on my scalp. however, I hope more grafts can be taken out of my donor scalp. let's see what brilliant @Eugenix Hair Sciencecan do in my case!
