so I've done finasteride for about 2 years,  10+ years ago.

I've recently re-started finasteride (well, trying branded propecia first, was just a bit worried about sides, got generic ones ordered.. will try those). After the first few days I think I got used to the sides.  But I think there still is the same brainfog I experienced always (even 10+ years ago). But it's something I can manage for long-term I believe.

Now.. considering oral minoxidil, so this didn't exist before to my knowledge.  I know it can cause lotsa hairs throughout the body.  But how more effective is fin on top of fin?

Like Fin is FDA approved for bald issues,  but minox isn't right?   If I were to do both,  will Fin be doing 95% of the work, and minox gives 5% work? or how will it be?

Oral minoxidil is much more effective than the topical version. I would say it's not as effective as finasteride, but close. Combining both Oral Minoxidil and finasteride will give you the best results.

I wonder if there's any online prescriptions possible for oral minoxidil, as is for finasteride?  Or for oral minoxidil, do you have to go to see a dermatologist or doctor?

I use medicalwellnesscenter.com for my brand-name Avodart (Dutasteride).  I asked them for a prescription for Oral Minoxidil three years ago.  They said nope.

I buy my oral minox (Loniten) from alldaychemist.com

That was my work around.

Does the oral minox from alldaychemist work well? What % is that

I get the 10mg Loniten - I originally started taking 5mg 2X's a day 3 years ago but now I just take 2.5mg's per day.  I'm 55 and have had multiple procedures & have been on dutasteride (Avodart) for 20+ years and some form of minox for 25+ years, so I just continue to use meds at this point to keep my donor healthy and robust.

That written - the meds did delay accelerated hairloss until about 43 years old or so and then I lost more in my mid-vertex and crown.  You can never outrun genetics.

Been on Fin 17yrs and recently started to notice some loss.  Think I'm going to start to transition to Dut.  Did you originally start Fin and move over to Dut, or Dut straight away?

Finasteride  (Propecia 5mg split into 1/4ths) from I think '98 to about '02-'03.  Then switched to Dutasteride (Avodart) since '03 - been consistent with the NAME-BRAND Avodart since about '18.  For a few years since '03 (I think '08 on & off thru '18) I was on/off generic & name-brand Avodart.
