Update: today is day 8. I have done 2 head washes using dove soap over the last 2 days. I’ve attached a couple of pictures that show what my head looked like with the scabs and then after I removed them. Have sent eugenix post care team some update pictures as well. They confirmed the scalp looks clean and that everything seems to be healing nicely. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Today is day 11-12(due to time difference from India) post transplant! I wanted to post a couple of update pics.

I have been shampooing my hair once daily as recommended by Eugenix. I have not noticed much hair fall but do see the occasional 3-4 hairs on my hand while washing. My head has not fully recovered from the anesthetic, as I still feel some numbness when I touch my scalp. Although, each day it is getting better. My donor area has been somewhat itchy so I ordered some organic aloe vera get to apply (will get here tomorrow). Does anyone know if this is only to be applied to the donor area?

Also, the back of my head has healed faster in my opinion than the sides of my head. I can kind of see the holes from the punches on my skin and the hair doesn’t seem like it’s coming in the same way that it is on the back of my head. Any thoughts on this? I’m sure it takes time for things to heal but was just curious.

I am looking forward for the next few weeks to pass so I can start wearing a hat and hitting the gym again!

Hope everyone is having a great Friday!

Hi Jay- Great meeting you! You have promise for a great result! It is possible that the sides of the head can be experiencing some temporary shock loss which can potentially take some time to recover. I have seen this over and over.

Looking forward to seeing your progress. I'll be posting my journey pronto.

Hi Adam thanks for the feedback. Thought it may be shock loss but doesn’t seem to be too severe!

Ive got my fingers crossed that the results are as promising haha.

I’ll be posting updated every month so be sure to check them out! I just checked out your post and things are looking amazing. Very happy for you brother.

@caveman Hey Bro, Hope everything is going well for you. We have a very similar hair loss pattern and looking forward to seeing your progress. Also, Did you choose not to shave your beard or didn’t need to? I have a surgery coming up with Dr Bansal, and My beard is almost as good as yours, lol.

Hello everyone. Today marks 1 month after my procedure ended. Everything seems to be in order. I have continued to shampoo my hair daily or every other day and am taking the vitamins that eugenix recommends to their patients. I’ve noticed hair fall (about 15-20 hairs daily) which started at the end of week 2.

I started weightlifting again at the end of week 3 after speaking with the eugenix care team. I was initially told that after 1 week, I can resume my normal routine but I wanted to be extra careful. Then eugenix told me that after week 3 it is totally safe.

Aside from this, not much to report on. I am guessing there will be further hair shedding for the next month or two before I start seeing any progress. I’m continuing to play the waiting game.

I’ve attached a few pictures of my current status. Let me know if anyone has feedback or thoughts!

What’s up apex. Everything’s been going well. If your beard is like mine you’ll be good to go bro. I only had 500 grafts taken from my beard because the team was able to get a lot of grafts from my donor. Also, my beard continues all the way down my neck pretty much to my chest if I don’t shave it lol. Luckily, I was able to take 500 grafts from my neck area like by my Adam’s apple. So I only had to shave my neck area down and not my actual beard! Good luck on your upcoming procedure and lemme know if you’ve got any questions.

@caveman 😭 My whole beard was trimmed, I did get 1000 or so grafts taken, so it was much easier to shave it all. I haven’t seen my face without any facial hair since I was 15yo. There goes my No Shave November!

Lol I pussied out from the beard as I wasn’t ready for the anesthesia pricks haha

the side locks weren’t any better hurt like a bitch lmao

And to follow up on a previous post on here, I showed them my chest hair and they said that I have thick chest and they can take 500-700 grafts, he said just continue trimming it  goddamn Indian genes bro🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have a lot of chest hair too, but they said that beard hair grows better so they'll use that instead. Although still not as good as scalp hair.

But as we age, its a good researve to have.

UPDATE:

Below are my 5 month update pictures(took these a few weeks ago). Overall there’s definitely been changes that have occurred since my last post. However, the hair is very dry and thin looking. To be honest, I liked the look during the shedding when I had just trimmed my hair down lol.

That being said there is still a lot of time for improvement. As of now eugenix is saying I have “40% hairline demarcation.” Does anyone know if that means only 40% of the hairs have popped out and started growing? Or does it mean all the grafts have sprouted but there is only 40% density. It’s hard to find a clear answer on that.

The midscalp is looking fairly thin as of now but again I am staying positive and expecting everything to fill in, as time goes on.

The crown has some growth but it’s like peach fuzz right now and will take a bit longer to grow than the rest of the scalp. Let the waiting game continue. I’ll post another update in a month or so, or as I see more changes occur.

You’ll see pictures before and after a haircut. Something to note, even with a skin fade you can barely see any marks/scarring on the donor area!
