Senior Member follically challenged Posted July 28, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted July 28, 2022 1. How common is it? 2. Is it more common in beard transplants than hair transplants? 3. Is it a physiological result or purely down to the skill of the doctor? 4. Are there ways to get rid of it afterwards should it occur? Thanks! Moderators Al - Moderator Posted July 29, 2022 Moderators Share Posted July 29, 2022 In the several months after a hair transplant most people will look like they have either cobblestoning or pitting or both. Sometimes it can look pretty bad. It's part of the healing and it will usually completely clear up and smooth out once the new hair grows in, so if you look like you have any of that and you are still in the first several months then just wait a few more months to see what happens. 1 Al Forum Moderator (formerly BeHappy) I am a forum moderator for hairrestorationnetwork.com. Senior Member follically challenged Posted July 29, 2022 Author Senior Member Share Posted July 29, 2022 Interesting. So it seems to be more surgical error than a person's natural reaction. But are there any cures for it, should it unfortunately occur..? The document Melvin provided doesn't seem to answer that bit...
