HT FueGenix (Dr. Munib Ahmad) 2540 Grafts

Hello,

Just a brief introduction about myself. I am 24 years old and I am from Belgium. From the age of 20 I saw my hair thinning and this has had quite an effect on my self-confidence. I am taking finasteride 1 MG for 1.5 years now and have also been using minoxil for the past 4 years.

After reading a lot about hair transplants I quickly found out that I am not the ideal candidate for an HT. Young, hair loss not yet stabilized, not a good donor area,.... All factors that make it clear to me that an HT is not a permanent solution in my case and that further down the line I might have to shave my head or do more HTs.

Enough introduction, I decided to do an HT at Fuegenix Hair Clinic, Dr. Munib Ahmad on the 13th of June. A total of 2540 grafts were placed, 230 of which were on the crown. I came to Fuegenix by a Dutch hair forum and like many was impressed with the good results by Fuegenix and so decided to do an intake interview. This was much more honest and clear than at other (Turkish) clinics I have been in contact with.

I knew that for the most certainty in a good result I had to go to Fuegenix. From Turkish clinics I sometimes saw nice results, but the chances of bad density, unnatural hair directions were much higher and I did not want to take this risk. In consultation with the doctor I chose a conservative hairline with optimal density.

So finally on 13/06 my operation went very well and took about 7 hours.  I had a 2 hour drive home after the operation without any problems. The first week of aftercare was very tough with constant itching in donor area and difficult sleeping. Fortunately, Fuegenix was always available for questions and it is nice to have direct contact with the doctor who performed the surgery. After those first 7 days everything went back to normal, on day 9 I started working again (teleworking) with camera on and I just told everyone that I had shaved my hair.
On day 12 all scabs off, so my aftercare was very traditional.

For me it is important that no one knows I did an HT. To this day ( 5 weeks) no one has noticed. No heavy redness in transplant area, donor already well recovered,....
All factors due to the doctor's precision work. So I am looking forward to having a nice result in a few months and will post additional pictures.

Here you can find the pictures from before/after the hair transplant and after 2 weeks.
