Has anyone heard of Heva Clinic?

I am looking to get a touch up on my last hair transplant and had a consultation with Heva Clinic over the phone. They seem like an underrated clinic in Turkey that specializes in Afro hair and not a hair mill like Asli Tarcan. The doctor is legit and has been running the clinic for 9 years. Here is her LinkedIn Has anyone has experience or has heard of this clinic before??

When it comes to Afro hair then it’s important to find a Dr that is actually proven to put out consistent results, if you can’t find any actual patient posted journeys on a forum such as this then it’s a red flag 🚩

We see Dr Bisanga, Dr Mwamba, Dr Lapunzula, Dr Feriduni, @DrTBarghouthi+ Dr Diep do good work with Afro hair, Turkey is not the place to go, all of these places can seem ok until you look past the clinic posted pics and dig further.

A quick look online shows they are just another one of thousands of clinics offering a multitude of different procedures. The online reviews are sketchy, all 5* ? All soon after the different procedures ? And only go back for 1 year. All clinics will have less then all 5* reviews, this place is doing silly graft numbers per session too, 5k regularly, it’s pretty much hitting all the red flags possible. Probably a totally tech driven transplant in reality.

@J.A.CThe guy who I talked with on the phone said they do 2 procedures a day with the doctor doing extraction and techs doing implantation. Very different from the turkish mills. He even spoke down on hair mills like Asli Tarcan and are actually about to do a donor repair on one of their patients who was overharvested.

Yeh but who is the Dr ? Can you actually see full 12 month journeys/results ? True as it might be that places like HOI and Asli Tarcan do poor work, other rivals will talk down of them, and vice versa. They all talk a good game but it’s results that matters. Considering these guys are doing 5k sessions, they will have their own over harvesting cases in the future.
What you want is a Dr that’s already a proven quantity with Afro hair and has lots of results. Someone that’s doing hair transplants every day. I have named the best above, just be careful with your valuable/finite donor area.

@AfroLinks are not allowed here, they will get removed when they are seen. A YouTube clip showing some of a procedure proves nothing.
It was mentioned they have been doing it for 9 years ? Yet reviews only go back 1 year, and absolutely no mention here on the forum In all that time.

Its up to you but I would go for the guys that are already proven and consistent.

Which one of them is the best at taking hair under the chin/neck and placing it back to the temples, hairline, and donor? The guy I was talking with from Heva said I had 2000 grafts in that area which was kind of hard to believe.

Get some consulting done with some of the Drs i mentioned (if not all) Beard grafts should only be used as a “filler” and nowhere in the temples or hairline, it can be used in the donor area though with good effect.
Dr Mwamba or Dr Bisnaga are particularly adept with Afro hair and restocking of the donor area. And have taken on many repair Afro cases. It’s more than possible you have 2k from your Beard, without seeing any pics it’s difficult to know for sure.

@Afrodo not go to a Turkish hair mill for the love of God. I am not black and do not have afro hair, but don't be fooled by these Turkish hair mills marketing themselves as 'afro-hair specialists'. They are not.

Asli Tarcan, a famous 'afro hair specialist' absolutely decimated my donor area in 2018 and the recipient area is pretty garbage too, unnatural hairline and patchy result.

I'll be going to Dr Mwamba to try and fix this mess - trust me, I wish I did proper research the first time around!!!!

Do some research here, but please do not go to an unknown doctor.

You should really stay away from Turkey but i have also heard previously that HLC do afro hairs but have never seen any patients from there. I would suggest you to do your own research on afro hair too since it is really difficult topic. Some doctors have been given the title "specialist" without proven any afro patients documenting their journey.

Hi I have some photos here https://imgur.com/a/1xuO9KL

The first transplant did not achieve the growth I would have liked on its own. There are still some patchy areas on the hairline, temples, and back of head. I recently got SMP from a pretty good artist all around my head and the transplant looks decent now but i would still like to get the patchy parts repaired. I would also like to do a beard transplant  if possible to fix the bald spot on chin. For donor I am willing to use all hair below chin and pubic.  @DrTBarghouthi@Aslitarcan sucks@J-C

I really should not have mentioned Diep here, just because he does have some good Afro results (years ago) this comment doesn’t hold up anymore. He is now synonymous with poor work and heavy marketing, anybody reading in 2023 and beyond should look elsewhere for someone that still does good work with Afro centric hair. I would still say Turkey isn’t the destination to head too of you’re seeking a Afro specialist.
