Should I be considering a third procedure?

Definitely too early at 6 months. Just wait another 6 months. You'll actually see full results at about 1.5 years

My advice does not constitute a patient-physician relationship nor as medical advice and all medical questions/concerns should be addressed to your medical provider.

Alex,

I think before considering a third procedure you ought to wait at least 12 to 18 months do you let your second hair transplant grow in and mature. Currently, you are too early to evaluate your results.

That said, keep in mind that hair transplant surgery does not restore a completely full head of hair. It will never be as dense as it was before you lost any hair.  Remember that hair transplant surgery is based on supply and demand. There’s simply a greater demand for her and the recipient area then there is a supply which is in the donor area.

A surgeon and only strategically place what’s available into the shipping area to make it look as natural and dense as possible.

keep in mind the other factors play a role in the appearance of natural disinteensity. For example, hair that is not styled, combed and randomly going through your hair like you did in the video will always make a hair transplant look thinner then if you combed it and styled it.  Furthermore, wet hair because it comes together will always look thinner than dry hair that spread itself out.

so instead of showing a video with you running your fingers through your uncombed hair, I suggest show me a video with your hair styled and then maybe run a comb through it as if you were styling it in the morning before you went off to work.  This will paint on much more realistic picture as to what others will see when they look at your hair.

Best wishes,

Your hair looks similar to mine.  I'm in the process of getting SMP for density.  I'll share the results when it's finished so you can see if it's for you or not.  Should be a month from now. :)

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm at about 1.5 years from my first transplant and a week away from 6 months of my second. Just getting worried as in most of the other examples I've seen of a second procedure to add density, it was more smooth sailing.

Nice, I'll keep an eye out for it.

I don't have much to add besides give it at least a full year before considering another surgery.
