FueGenix Netherlands, 2870 grafts crown towards front HT

Hi all,

My motivation to make this thread is to support other people who are heaving problems with balding, I'm from the Netherlands and 34 years old and have been balding for some years, it only quite bothered me on pictures and for the rest of it i just dealt with it like many are.

I should have prevented the hairloss more while i was younger, haven't touched anything like finasteride or other stuff sadly, yet Ive got quite an healthy donor luckily, have an older brother who also did HT three times, so i was still a newbie and my search started online and with someone with my brother as guideline. Ive been on consult with Esteworld and they seemed great for what they have to offer. They offered me an 5000+ session which would have been done on 1 day. Ive seen great results from there but i really didn't want my donor area to be at risk due to the many grafts taken at once.

After realizing a mega session in one sitting would be bad i started focussing on 3000-3500 grafts going from the crown towards the front (yes, i'm weird 😄 normally people do it the other way around,  but maybe if you see the pictures you will understand) and i accepted i prolly needed 2 HT's  in total.

Also had some inquiries from other dutch/belgian clinics but ended up talking to Munib the doctor @FueGenix due to him getting good results on an dutch forum, first off i was abit skeptical about the site. The few months the clinic was active it would have been impossible to come up with that much clients. Tho the site was something i could understand as an selling point, the fact that he had good results so far and seemed very passionate about it made me want to meet him.

After meeting him at his place and him giving me advice, looking at my grafts with microscope i already made my mind up that i was going to be doing my HT at him, shortly after he sent me an offer and which plan/how many grafts we would be able to do in 1 session and i accepted it.

Operationday:

Fast foward to monday 14 june 2021, since his clinic is 3hours away from my place i stayed overnight at an hotel close to the clinic, in the morning i walked towards the clinic around 7:00 and after arriving we started early around 7:30. It was me and @FueGenix alone for the first 4hours or so, for me this was very pleasurable cause you know someone is working on you with his full attention span. You can ask him questions which make him think about his decisions twice 😄 (something i could not have done in an turkish clinic)

Around 11 i believe his assistant arrived which began to arrange the grafts FueGenix just took out the hours before, meanwhile i could eat something provided by them. After eating if i remember correctly he started making incisions and together they placed the hairs back. While Fuegenix being the lead doctor, correcting his assistant if needed. Both of them were very down to earth and it was possible to make short talk about netflix shows and other stuff making the day pass-by quickly.

Around 15:30 i was done, i was quite happy that i didn't bleed in surgery much and FueGenix does not work with bandage on the donor area, this works really well and gives the wounds fresh air. So after the operation it looked very clean, my brother with 3time experience was quite shocked how good it looked.

The injections didn't hurt at all, i guess my painlevels are quite ok and after everything was done i remember FueGenix saying, "it was like you were in a spa/wellness centre, that calm you were"

This are the before pictures, 1 picture how i "styled" my hair previously.

Next posts will have progression

Wow 😯 Looks fantastic ! Especially for the number of grafts that were used. Thanks for posting 🙏

Thanks, yea i can only recommend FueGenix and i really wanted to look the crown as natural as possible with swirl effect, also the angle the grafts are placed so it matches my current hairstyle. Sadly he has become more expensive and i doubt i can pay him again, yet the work he has done I'm very happy with of course.

I would opt for a 2500-3000 graft on top HT in the future filling the spots FueGenix could not reach with 2870 grafts, but essengen6-plus has also done it's job and restored alot of thin hairs upfront, for now it gives a vision of a fullish head of hair, i took as much diff pictures under diff lightning to show some perspective. But then again when i look from where Ive come its just easy to say the results are impressive.

It's abit hard to style atm, last time ive been to a barber was in november or before that. Some of the hairs ontop have grown so long that its masquerading the results abit i reckon, i really wonder what i looks after the barber has done his job. But its max lockdown atm here until 14th.

Been a good kickoff to a full head of hair in the future. 👍

Very nice results, for your Norwood level this number of grafts was very efficiently used.

Your case is an exact example of why I get angry when other patients here, go to perhaps a low cost Turkish clinic and don't get a good result, yet posters come back and say "well you needed more grafts from the beginning, the density was never going to be good."

No, clearly as shown by your case and many others from good clinics, if the yield is high then a lower number of grafts can accomplish a lot.

Looks very good.

Do you use anything else besides EssenGen-6 Plus?

Did you experience any side effects?

Started using all-in-1 vitamines (with biotine)

And no i haven't had any side effects, when working from home i applied twice a day, now i apply it mostly later at evening, shower in the morning
