Senior Member EvoXOhio Posted September 19, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted September 19, 2021 Transplanted hair is real hair, so it’s going to grow just as long as it would have when it was on the back of your head.

I had the same question many years ago because I wanted to be able to grow it long. Search out my 9 years later results thread if you want to see......or just take my word that it grows as long as you want it to. My hairline transplant comes down past my chin to the adams apple area 1 2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now. Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018. Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week. Senior Member Britanium Posted September 20, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted September 20, 2021 Yup you can grow it as long as you want, it takes on the same growth as your native hair once it’s moved.
