How many follicles would you recommend?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am 29 years old. I have been on Finastride  (.25mg ED, no sides) since September and started weekly Dermaneedle & daily Minox in December. Hair loss has stabilized with notable regrowth starting to occur (you can note the fuzz in the second photo; none of this hair was there at start of treatment.

Anyhow, I’m not going for an aggressive restoration. I eyeballed a hairline I think would be age appropriate going forward.

how many grafts would he required to fill this area? I’ve been quoted several options but won’t disclose until I get an unbiased opinion due to anchoring effects.

I would say 1,500 to match native density which is high

I think the hairline you shown looks about right !

Thank you. I’m likely to get FUE with Dr. Cortez in Tijuana. He agrees 1500 grafts should reach sufficient density for the zone indicated.

Would recommend going lower or is the hairline i eyeballed fine?

I would not recommend going any lower. The center of your hairline is already low, if you bring in the temples only slightly it will completely transform your appearance. My hairline is very similar.

There are decent results from this clinic on YouTube.

i was also quoted by Alvi clinic and cost is more than twice as high and reviews here and unfavorable. There’s a Dr.Cortez review on this forum as well; it came out favorably.

That’s you? Very handsome and good result. I’ll drop sub and likes as I binge all videos.

you think Cortez is the right choice or should I run with Baubac?

I don't know their work personally, but I have seen some good results on YouTube a guy named Frederick Reilly, amazing results. We have a long history with Alvi Armani clinic. They sued us a decade ago because they wanted us to remove negative reviews. I cannot recommend that clinic in good faith.

Definitely Cortez over Alvi. I have seen a few Cortez results only, but from what I see looks good 😌
