Clinics/Doctors in S. Korea?

South Korea is one of the plastic surgery capitals of the world. They frequently have foreigners fly in just to get plastic surgery because of how popular it is over there. Yet I almost never hear about S. Korea ever being talked about for hair transplantation even though I've heard of a couple clinics over there. I've seen a few youtube videos of people going to Motion Clinic but haven't seen too many patients results posted by average every day users. I almost feel like Korean hair transplants are almost like the work of some of those Spanish doctors who have thousands of successful transplants but almost no one in the English speaking forums know anyone that's actually gone to them.

Even when I Google for real patient results from Korea, it's very rare to find any results. So I was just wondering if people had any results from S. Korea and how the doctors are over there

I don’t have any experience with South Korean doctors. I know there’s two YouTubers who had theirs done in S Korea, hairliciously and keratin brotherhood.

Here are my thoughts, hair loss isn’t as common in South Korea, there is definitely more hair loss in Europe, middle east, etc. So it would make sense why these countries are more known for hair loss. I believe there’s talented plastic surgeons and no doubt hair transplant surgeons in S Korea, but is there a demand like there is in other countries.

Hi guys,

I moved to Korea this year and I made some research on Korean clinics as I'm planning to get a hair transplant soon. I even received some offers already based on pictures I sent them for online "consultancy".

the prices did vary from 2-6$ per graft - quite a big range I guess.

I have to say that I am not really convinced and I have doubts. The reference pictures they present are not really telling much and most of Koreans just get their front line transplanted. So not really what I need for my blond, a bit curly, European hair.

I do not doubt that Korean clinics are well trained and well equipped with newest technology, but I'm not sure if it's the right place if you have "non Asian" hair.

My hair dresser recommend me this clinic based on his clients recommendations:
http://en.mojelim.com

I was in contact with these ones:
https://www.forhair.co.kr/en/
https://seoulguidemedical.com (Agency)-->recommend this clinic: http://www.roothair.kr

As my priority is to get the best result, I'm considering to go to Spain for the transplant.

Do you have any updates on Korean results, since your last pots?

Best,
Nick

Thanks for the recommendations John!

I saw the results of the Spanish doctors and it's really impressive.
As I'm from Germany I was considering to do it in Germany or Turkey. Any clinic / doctor you can recommend there or if you could choose, in Europe, you would go to the Spanish or Belgium ones?
